Our college has good infrastructure, placements, and faculty.
Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, TCS, Sutherland, IBM, etc. Top recruitment companies for our course are HCL, Milekal, FABC, etc. Top roles offered are software developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with good facilities like computer labs, mechanical labs, a workshop, unlimited Wi-Fi, etc. The infrastructure of our classrooms is good. The library is available for students with great books which is helpful for us.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. They help us for getting good placements. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I opted for this course because I am interested in it.

Many changes are made in our college now.
Placements: Many companies are visiting here, and almost all students from CSE and ECE branches got selected in placements. It is difficult for mechanical students and civil students as they get placements in BPO and marketing companies. They have to struggle a lot after completing the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and Wi-Fi is also available here. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, and classes are conducted on the smartboard. We can select our own slots timing, faculty members and subject which we like. Faculty members here are limited for each class.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, but it is different to survive for teachers to stay in college. When I joined, many teachers in the college have completed their PhD. Many teachers left the college and have joined in some other colleges.
Other: Many events are conducted in our college.

I am dissatisfied with the college because of placements.
Placements: Not even half of the strength got placed. Campus interview took place with companies like BPOs. Students got placed in such companies. After finishing mechanical engineering, most of them shifted to IT and CSC based jobs. The top role offered in our course is a machine operator, and the salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was the best compared to other colleges. The college was under construction when I joined, and the work is still going on. The food served was quite good, and we also have sports facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were helpful in every situation. They used to be friendly, and they arranged many internship opportunities and industrial visits as well. Our college was ready to provide jobs for students.
Other: I opted for this course because it was my parents wish.

I am satisfied because of teachers and culture, but they lag in providing placements.
Placements: Almost 40% of the students from our department are placed. Very few students are placed in the relevant field, and others are placed in BPO, KPO and IT. The highest salary package offered by Ford Motors is 3.5 LPA. Ford is the top recruiting company. Design engineer designation was the highest role offered to the students. In our course, the salary package offered is 1.2 LPA to 3.5 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got an internship in various companies, probably in Ashok Leyland.
Infrastructure: Our campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. All classrooms are smart, and every classrooms have a smartboard. It was more useful to understand, visualise and analyse new things, and we can see all those elements. Our hostel food was average as compared to other colleges.
Faculty: All lecturers here are quite good, and they are taking classes in a very friendly manner. Classes won't be bored, and in every period they gave some time for activities, which were wonderful.
Other: I have chosen this course because, in my family, all my relations belong to the mechanical background. I learned a few things from them in childhood, and automatically I got an interest in this field.

Join this college if you focus only on studies.
Placements: The highest package offered to a student is 2 LPA. There is a placement cell in our college that provides information about placements to the students. Hyundai and other companies visit the campus to recruit mechanical engineering students. I have less knowledge about placements and other related aspects because I discontinued my course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in most of the classrooms. The library has good infrastructure, but it is too small for a college like Saveetha. The canteen is good but needs improvement because it is not much spacious for the students to sit and eat.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were average at teaching their subjects with some exceptions. The student-faculty ratio was 30:1. The course curriculum was useful but needs more time to complete a subject. Completing a core subject in 30 days is hectic. If you need to clear any exam, you can not rely on the faculty members.
Other: Guest lectures are conducted almost every Saturday, which are really helpful and provide knowledge to students.
