Shivaji College has a very active Placement Cell that works round the year to provide internship and employment opportunities to its students. Yes, Shivaji College accepts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score for both undergraduate and postgraduate admissions. For undergraduate programs, candidates need to appear for the CUET UG exam, and for postgraduate programs, they are required to appear for the CUET PG exam. The college also considers the CUET scores for 50% of the total seats reserved for students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC categories. The admission process for PG courses is offered via two channels - DUET (entrance exam) and merit basis.

In 2022, Shivaji College (like all DU affiliated colleges) adopted CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. Shivaji College admission 2023 for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit Shivaji College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option. 

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists which will be out on August 1, August 10 and August 22, 2023, respectively for all categories. 

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the Shivaji College will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Shivaji College accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

Shivaji College BSc admission is entrance-based. Shivaji College accepts CUET UG scores for admission to its undergraduate courses. Candidates seeking admission to BSc at Shivaji College are required to pass the Class 12 exam. Apart from the eligibility criteria, candidates are also required to appear for the CUET with the following subject combinations according to the specialisation opted by them as mentioned below:
