Review of Shivaji College.

Placements: Placements in our college were bad. The salary package offered was even less than 2 LPA. The college is okay if you wish to do graduation but don't expect anything more. We had to find internships on our own, and the college didn't provide any help related to placements.

The college has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The college does not provide placements after completing the course, and most of the students go for higher studies like JAM and masters of science. There is a placement cell in the college, but only commerce background students can enrol in this programme. For science students, there is no such facility.

An average college with good faculty and active societies. Placement cell needs to be improved.

Placements: A placement cell is available in our college and is not that active. A few companies like Genpact, Aon and RBS, etc., have visited our college to recruit the students. But the roles offered by them were not that helpful. They majorly offered roles related to voice process which were not suitable for the economics graduates. We ended up giving only interviews at campus placements without any jobs.

My college is growing. Not so good placements in 2018.

Placements: Placements from different companies were offered of basic profiles and low packages. The highest salary offered was around 3.2L and the lowest was around 2.8L. Genpact, RBS, Naukri. Com etc. Visited the campus. Customer Executive was offered by most of the companies.

Overall, the college is good with the faculty and crowd. The infrastructure needs to be improved.

Placements: The college has recently started providing placements from the session 2017-2018. There weren't any placements for our seniors. None of the students in our batch opted for placements as they weren't much good. Most of the students had opted for either higher studies or preparation for competitive examinations.

It is good in infrastucre but not good in studies.

Placements: Yes, it gives the opportunity for placement. It gives placement to the small companies like genpact, capital IQ, ibm etc. And mostly they give placement to the commerce students. Many students are selected every year from our college. The placement cell of the college is trying to send more and more students in placement.

It is about yourself, not about your college

Placements: The placement drive which took place in our final year or in the case of our seniors was almost same as the companies which come at our time were same to that of the last year. Only about 5-10% of the total strength got placed because for our placement mostly BPOs came and for that, only a few students were interested. The highest package offered was of 3.5 lacs and the minimum package was of 2.10 lacs p.a. Basically, caller executive roles were offered to the students. Some of them have got the...

A nice out of campus college.

Placements: There were no placements from the college for the course of English Literature. However, one can participate in placements by registering in the placement cell. Most of the profiles are customer associate i.e. Call centers or BPOs. There can be placements for other courses but nothing substantial that can motivate you to take up the college.

Shivaji college review: placements, curriculum, faculty, etc.

Placements: The college offered 60-65% placements. The students of the college are less active as far as the placements are concerned. The lowest and the highest salaries offered were Rs. 14-15 KPM to Rs. 22-25 KPM. The roles of HR, consultants, BPOs, KPOs, sales and marketing, finance, etc., were offered. About 50-55% students sit for the internship drive from the college. Companies like Career Marshal, Aon, Concentrix, Genpact, etc., came for the placement drive.

Partially satisfied due to the absence of good faculty members.

Placements: No placements were provided by the college for which students need to suffer. No company had come for recruitment. Internship facility was also not provided by the college. Students barely had any facility to provide any exposure to the students.

Review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi.

Placements: I don't know the actual number, but students got placed from college. Packages range from 5-6 LPA. Shivaji College has a very active placement cell that works round the year to provide internships and employment opportunities to its students. The cell organises skill development workshops, seminars, and talks that give students ample insight into the scenario prevailing in the current job market. Students can register themselves at the college placement portal to get updates and participate in p...

The infrastructure is average. Our college is good. Faculty is good to expect for physics subject.

Placements: The general class students should score above 90%, OBC caste students should score above 85%, and SC and ST caste students should score above 70% to get admission in this college. Top companies visit our college to hire students for placements.

Not the best experience a student could ask for still miss college life though.

Placements: There are several opportunities. Internship was something in demand. We got internship offers through WhatsApp groups. You could choose to take them or leave them, there was a vetting process involved which was not too hard, there were some payments involved in some cases.

Faculty members are good, but the infrastructure is not satisfactory.

Placements: There are around 200 students in our course. Placements are not provided by our college after this course. Students need to register on their own. A few companies came at the end of the year and provided placements to only 2-3 students.
