An honest review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi.

Placements: Most placements are provided in B.Com. It actually depends on the president of the placement cell if he/she belongs to BBE, but they would get placements for the course. During my tenure, the president belonged to B.Com, so the placements were inclined towards our course.

Shivaji College is one of the best colleges as they think about their students.

Placements: In Shivaji college, a society is made for placements which really works hard for the students to conduct placements with good companies. This time (2022) many new startups are visiting the college. According to me, it is good for the students to know more about this world because they can now closly see from the budding stage.

It has an amazing campus and excellent faculty members.

Placements: It is one of the best colleges in DU. Placements in our course are not much good. Placements are mostly offered to the students from the chemistry or physics department. For the past two years, none of the students from our course got placed. Only 10% of the students get placed in our course.

This college is a little expensive for B.Sc physics course.

Placements: It is difficult for B.Sc physics students to get placements from college through the physics branch but they can easily grab the opportunity by learning a lot of skills that the college encourages and enhance during the course. So, the student will have theoretical knowledge of his own course as well as have enhanced skills such as coding C+ and so on. These things will finally help to get placed. In Shivaji College, more than 65% of the students get placements from college.

This college is not good for placements.

Placements: The placements in our college are poor, especially in our course because I think our college didn't give importance to our course as it's Hindi. I don't know what percentage of students were placed from our course. Students asked teachers about placements, but teachers said they didn't know about this and said to ask our seniors. We asked our seniors, and they said they also didn't know about this and said there are no placements for Hindi course students as Hindi is an underrated course.

This college is excellent.

Placements: It provides highly reputed companies, and they even provide internships for first-year students. This college even has its placements cell, and webinars are conducted timely to enhance the skills of the students which are helpful.

Short campus yet beautiful.

Placements: In my course, hardly any placements occur because top placements were there for arts and commerce stream and there were no events for placements as such. 0% got placed. As there were no placement evidently there were no packages offered. In Bachelor's there were no internship as such.

I am satisfied with this college and staff members.

Placements: This college has a very active placements cell that works throughout the year to provide internships details and jobs profile. It includes many societies like Enactus, Disha, Vibgyor, Aranyam, and many more to learn and grow. More than 60% of students get selected every year for placements.

Good infrastructure and faculty but too costly.

Placements: The placements opportunities are less for science stream students like B.Sc. There is a placement cell which gives you internship opportunities and sometimes placements opportunities also. You have to first choose in which field you want to go then decide which internship will help your future endeavours.

Placements: Actually, I have not cleared my college I will be passing it in 2023 so I don't have much knowledge regarding this but our college provides us good placements as it stands in top 20 colleges of the Delhi University. I am aware of some packages were offered to students last year.

I made a right choice joining this college.

Placements: From the final year, i.e., 3rd-year, students start going for placement interviews, but not the students of history. It is mostly limited to commerce sector students. Several reputed companies used to visit here. I don't exactly know about the packages offered as my stream was different. Nearly 75% of students got placed. Currently, I am preparing for civil services.

Placements: Shivaji College gives placements to many students every year. Almost 15-20% of the students are placed every year in different companies. Students of science are placed in Reliance, etc. Many other students are even doing IELTS.

Placements: Internship opportunities here are great. You can easily enroll for internships and get experience and a stipend. There are a lot of internships and placement opportunities available every day. You just need to apply from the online portal and then appear for the interview.
