My college SMIT, a good college for admission.
Placements: Our training placement cell is quite average. Placements in recent years is not so good. But many reputed company visited our college like intel, ibm etc. In this year two students from our college is placed at intel. But overall placement record for this year is not good but in previous years placement was quite good.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. Labs are well decorated with instruments. For sports there is a football ground in our campus and total 4 badmintoncourts are there. Medical facilities is always there in our campus. Hostels are also available in our campus and hostel rooms are good for lodging but foods for hostellers are very poor.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are very friendly and communication with them is very easy. Student teacher ratio in our college is also very good compared to other colleges. All of them are highly qualified and their teaching techniques are very good. They teach us in a easy way to understand. So faculty members of college is very good.
Other: We also organizes tech fest and fest. In fest popular artists come to our college and in tech fest various events are there for participation. We also organises cricket and football tournament in our campus.

You can start your life in SMIT, Guptipara.
Placements: All the placements are organized by Techno India group, For the departments like CSE, IT, ECE. You will get a fair chance to join TCS and all other leading MNCs. For core engineering streams, you have to struggle because of present West Bengal core industrialisation.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi campus, well-decorated classrooms, campus, library, study room, hostels, canteen. The college consists of three ground well cultural places. Well-maintained infrastructure and colourful campus are there in the college. The labs are very good, and there are many instruments.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful. They are well-behaved, cooperative. It is a nice place to start your journey. All departments are good although mechanical engineering and electrical engineering department are at their best. The faculty members and staffs of the college are very much well-behaved.
Other: The college is Well-connected to Assam road. The transportation is good. You will get scholarship also if you are not able to pay your fees.

Good placements in 2015. The college infrastructure is bad.
Placements: Most of the placements were for IT companies. I was placed in TCS, although my fellow mates were placed in various IT companies like Amazon, CTS etc. Some core companies also came. Training and placement officer is very bad. Overall, it is not a good college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor, being a college in a village area makes it have too fewer facilities. Wi-Fi is not available in college. The library is good but not that big. Lab equipment were mostly damaged. No canteen is available for those who do not belong from the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members were good, only some of them though. It's the same in all colleges. They were very helpful. The number of faculty members is very less, especially in electrical engineering, and good faculty members are needed. Some of them were very helpful. So, its overall a good experience.

Good placement in 2016, really good infrastructure, but the management is not good.
Placements: The placement cell is good, and there is nearly about 60% placement in all years. As it is a joint venture with Techno India Group, many companies conduct placements such as TCS, Wipro, CGI. The average salary package is 2.4 LPA-2.6 LPA. The college also provides training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. There is Wi-Fi inside the campus. The labs are very good. The classrooms are also very good. There is a big central library. There is a playground for football and cricket. There is a good canteen, and the food is also of good quality. The hostels are very good. There is no issue regarding the infrastructure. There is a cultural fest, and many other programs, and many sports events.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The teaching method is based on blackboard work, presentation. On an average, there are 8 faculty members in all streams and 3 lab assistants. There is an industry visit from the 2nd year, which is very useful.

Best B.Tech college in hoogly dist.
Placements: IT companies visited for placements. Quite good in overall campusing. Best for computer Science department. So my review for this college is quite good.
Infrastructure: Food quality is good. It is near kalna hospital, so medical facilities are available. There is a big field perhaps 3/4 acres. And students can easily access playing all the games. 5/6 hostels are there. And one girl's hostel. The canteen is good and the food quality is good.
Faculty: The college teachers are the best. They help us in every situation. Every teacher in our college is a B.Tech graduate. They even give us extra classes and doubt clearing classes. They teach us many things beyond the syllabus so that we can prosper in life. Semester exams are very difficult.
