Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Our college is good enough for the betterment of a student's future.
Placements: I am currently pursuing electrical engineering. The college is excellent.
Infrastructure: The college is of 7 floors with a library. It is clean and tidy. Wi-Fi is available in the library and on the first floor. It also has an incubating centre for students to develop their skills and communication. The college canteen is on the second floor, and it serves very good, tasty and healthy food. Cantin is on 2nd floor.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good, and they provide a good quality of education which helps students to increase their skills. Along with education, they also help us in other activities. They take us for industrial visits for extra curriculum and conduct workshop activities and many more. They help us with their best. Staff members are very polite and caring. They clear our doubts whenever we ask.
Other: I opted this course because I am passionate about this field, and I like electrical engineering.

Overall, the college is good because of its placements, infrastructure and senior staff.
Placements: The staff in the placement cell did great work. Around 130 companies visited the campus and recruited 40-50 students. Students with average grades can also get placed. Electrical students got placed in core companies, which is quite impressive.
Infrastructure: We have just shifted to the new college, where we have good classrooms, labs, security system, canteen and also an auditorium to organise functions. Freshers party was organised in the seminar hall. Parking and gymkhana facilities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, helpful and experienced. They have good knowledge. Faculty members in the electrical department are quite good and have good knowledge to suggest us about our career.

Neither great nor bad.
Placements: Last I heard, the placement rate was above 90% for sure. Companies like Capgemini and others visit the campus. We get many sources, or we can say, opportunities for internships and job recruitment from the 3rd year onwards, so it’s good to have these types of facilities to gain experience.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, library, and labs are all good and well-maintained. Only the library has a very good WiFi connection, which is open to all students. The canteen has a big open space and is well-maintained. The menu is as good as the place. There is a ground, and sports events are organized for students to showcase their talent.
Faculty: There are different types of teachers. Some teachers judge students and treat them less favorably, but there are a few teachers who are genuine and very helpful. It’s important to maintain a good relationship with teachers; otherwise, they might look down on you. Semester exams can’t be classified as difficult or easy; it all depends on how we write the paper.
Other: A lot of events, fun events, educational events, etc. happen here.

My experience in this college was very bad.
Placements: There are no placements, and none has got placed from our batch. From our senior batch, two students got placed. Only ten students got internships from my batch. There is a placement cell, but it is useless. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Only one company called Torrent Power has visited our campus.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. Labs are average and are not maintained properly. Classrooms are average. The canteen is very bad, it is like a roadside food court. Medical facilities are poor. The hostel is not available. The food quality is below average. Neither indoor games nor outdoor games are provided.
Faculty: Only a few teachers are knowledgeable. Apart from them, all other teachers are ignorant. Only a few teachers are helpful, but no one was helpful in my case. I didn't get industry exposure. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. Teaching quality is below average, and the method they used is not helpful.
Other: Many events and fests are conducted. The campus crowd is very small. The college provides scholarships. The college doesn't promote extracurricular activities. Connectivity is average.

The college had bad placements. The faculty members were very good, well qualified and helpful.
Placements: There were no placement opportunities in our college. Only one or two students got selected through placement drives. There were also no placements for students last year. Only around 5% of the students got placed through placements. Off-campus drives were conducted in the college last year. Few students got selected through campus placement drives.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was not provided in our college. The environment in the classrooms was good, but they were not equipped with A/Cs. Sports were held in January and are very enjoyable. Medical facilities in the college were poor. There were no hostels on the campus. Food offered in the canteen was bad.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college were helpful and well qualified. Teachers used the same old methods for teaching, and video lectures were rarely taken. Industrial visits were rarely organised. Students only get a little industry exposure.
Other: Ignite is the biggest event held in our college. The technical and cultural fest was also very popular. Campus crowd was very poor. There were no extracurricular activities organised in the college.
