Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Our college has good placements.
Placements: In our college, almost 60-70% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Torrent Power, McDonald's, Bharat Bijlee, TCS, etc., visit our campus. Many other colleges provide attentive seminars and lectures based on placements and tests.
Infrastructure: The campus is not huge. A playground is available. Washrooms are good. A canteen is available. A lot of food items are available to eat.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good and polite. They provide notes and important topics to study. The security guard always checks and asks for the student ID card.

Our college has excellent teachers and decent placements every year.
Placements: In our college, almost 30% to 40% of students are placed every year. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Burns, McDowell, etc., visit our campus. Almost all students can get unpaid internships at MSEB and the Indian Railways because the college provides the necessary letters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Laboratories are fully equipped, and the library is huge enough. The food offered in the canteen is not up to the mark, but you can go for junk food.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are very good. The teaching quality is very rude and strict, but everyone is cooperative. The pass percentage is 40%. The question paper is set by MU.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. I got my diploma in electrical engineering. After finishing my diploma, I began looking for colleges for degrees in Mumbai by reviewing websites and passing out students. After a lot of research, I came to know about this college as one of the best colleges in Mumbai. There are numerous festivals and events held at the college regularly. One of the major festivals is Zephyr, in which technical, cultural, and sports events take place.

Infrastructure is good, and the staff is supportive. They just need to work more on placements.
Placements: The placements were comparatively lower when I passed put in the year 2020, avg. The package was 3.20 LPA. I was doing my final year project for Reliance Company in Powai. The roles offered are executive engineer, junior engineer, and electrical supervisor. The highest package depends on the knowledge you carry by the end of the course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good overall, including the library and all the labs. All labs have lab assistants. The hostel is situated in front of the college itself but the hostel is closed now and they have started an architecture field over there. We also have a school and junior college next to the engineering college itself.
Faculty: We had CGPI. The first year is common for everyone and then from the second year on, you get into your own department. You gain a lot of theoretical knowledge in the college and the rest you learn on the field. Teachers are qualified; some are friendly and some are too strict, even though they don't have much knowledge.
Other: I had my KT or else I would have passed in the year 2018. I cleared my exam during COVID. The college fest is superb.

It is a decent college. Placements in our college were average.
Placements: The placement scenario of our college was a little precarious. Most of the students got placed from pool placements conducted outside the campus. Many startups visited the campus to recruit students. Even the mass recruiters didn't hire many students from the campus. The college didn't provide internships.
Infrastructure: The campus is large. The campus was Wi-Fi enabled. The campus had a library equipped with a good collection of publications. The quality of the classrooms was decent enough. Labs were well-equipped. Hostels weren't great, and the quality of the food served was average.
Faculty: Lectures in our college were qualified but lacked industry exposure. Their motto was mostly towards scoring marks in the exams than understanding the concepts. The quality of teaching was good. There were a good number of teachers. The student to teacher ratio was good.
