The college also organises industrial trips to provides first hand experience about the industry.
Placements: There is no placement cell yet in place. They are working towards having one. They've send surveys to students asking them about the kind of organisations and companies they want to have on board. However they still offer internships to some courses. I'm looking forward to what the placement cell has in store for us.
Infrastructure: As a Science student, I feel the laboratories are very well maintained and updated. The students have access to the library as well as computer lab. We are given proper and modern equipments which enables us to perform experiments well. The department also organises trips to various places that provides us with first hand experience about the industry or place.
Faculty: The teachers are well knowledgeable about the subjects they teach. There is a balance between practical experience and theoretical knowledge. There are talks and seminars where speakers from the field of Science come and share insights on the scope and interests in Science.

Amazing faculty, and a very pleasant experience.
Placements: Our college moulds us to make us extremely fit for the industry. We are taught not only the basic requirements, but also the practical applications of our studies. Most students went forward with their education in related fields, while some got jobs. Both categories found it very easy to do so since we were well-equipped.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well maintained with the latest facilities available for the students. The college overall is extremely well kept and is pleasant and efficient. The faculty is very supportive and guides you as to what the next step could be. They take time out specifically to guide you as an individual. It is personally very helpful to have someone to guide you through the process and decision making. They are also extremely fair and practical and urge us to be the same.
Faculty: The faculty for the course were excellent. They were always ready to go over and above to make sure we not only studied what was required, but also to shape us as responsible individuals. The cpurse curriculum was very useful to give us all the basic knowledge one would require. Also, the faculty we always available if needed and were very encouraging in academics as well as extracurricular activities.

A complete package to look into for a bright future and a women empowered proud college.
Placements: Sophia College is vastly known for its arts courses. Science students do get placed but they opt for PG courses after UG companies like Wipro and Piramal do come for placement with packages of about 2-3 lakhs. Internships are also offered in the vacations up to 4,000-5,000 stipend. 40% of the UG students do get the jobs as others prefer doing PG courses and 80% PG students are placed as few do opt for doing PhD.
Infrastructure: Sophia has a nature-loving and vast campus loved by all the proud students of the college. It has a huge library and air-conditioned labs. It is the cleanest college one must have ever seen. One can simply just sit anywhere. The food is quite good but for a homely food experience, Sophia Polytechnic canteen is preferred. It has good hostel facilities.
Faculty: All the faculty members of Sophia College are an inspiration. They are just like your family, are highly qualified and are knowledgeable. We were taught using presentations and OTPs. We were taken to industries every year for the knowledge of how the actual process and work takes place.
