Review of SSCET BE Agriculture engineering.
Placements: College placement is a bit poor compared to the posters they are showing. For the agriculture engineering course, the placement is very poor. Not many companies are coming to the college. Also, the companies coming also offer a small-scale salary. Students find internships, and they can go for it.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are adequately available for the course. In the library, enough books are available, but for some subjects, proper books are not available. In the hostel, the facilities are poor. Sockets are not even available in the hostel rooms. Sports facilities are there, but students can't access them.
Faculty: Faculty members are available, but most of them are not from an engineering background and not experienced enough. So, that makes some difficulties. The course curriculum is a bit older; it will be good if some new subjects related to advancing technologies are added. Internal exams are done monthly.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of bad placements. No core companies are coming .
Placements: College placement for agri department is very poor. Sometimes no core company will come or a company with low salary package will come. Students are taken care of their internship alone. Not connected by the college. Placement activities are mainly focused for IT related departments.
Infrastructure: Labs only available with few equipments and machines. Course related major books are available in library. Classrooms is also good. Labs are now congusted because of renovation works. And not provided adequate space for agri labs. Hostel is okey, but rules are strict.
Faculty: Curriculum is bit holder. No advanced courses are included. But in new regulation they added some new subjects. Faculty members are mainly from B.Sc. agri background so that they lack engineering knowledge and it case some problems some times. College conduct monthly internals and the semester exams are tough.

The college is not suitable for a non IT department student.
Placements: College placement for my department is very poor. Management only focusing on IT placement not for agri department. And to show 100% placement they are forcing students to attend non core companies interview. Core company placements are very poor.
Infrastructure: Hostel is really poor from the day I joined the college the hostel is still in maintenance. There is no Wi-Fi connectivity in hostel and systems are also not available properly. For the course infrastructure there are only few space and equipments not available.
Faculty: Faculty members are mainly B.Sc. graduates and they lack so much in engineering syllabus. Thus sometimes they couldn't explain properly. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students ready. But for some subjects the syllabus feels like little bit holder.

For IT-related courses, the college is very good. Even though agri is there, placement is very poor.
Placements: Not good for the agriculture department. Main focus in IT company. College focuses on placement for IT courses. For other streams, placement is very low. Otherwise, college is good. For IT courses, the companies are really good with a package of 3-4 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: For agriculture courses, the college provides good infrastructure. There is agricultural land specifically for agri students to cultivate crops, and also they can practice their work there. The labs are fully equipped with machinery and other essentials.
Faculty: The faculty members are really good; they are all well aware of the subject. Each of the staff is really helpful in studying, and they are also available for any doubt clearance. Three internal exams are conducted per semester. The level of the questions is very good.
