Life at SVC: a sweet ride.
Placements: There were a good number of students in commerce courses at the end of the third year. An average package of 6 LPA was common, while the highest stretches to 15+ LPA bagged by a few candidates. Companies like Deloitte were observed to take people across courses, maintaining that they had offered internships previously. In my course, most people opted for further studies instead of campus placements, and some opted for working for publishing houses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent. The classrooms are clean and ventilated, some have air conditioning, and most have projectors. The labs are well maintained, wi-fi is available consistently throughout the campus, there is an ATM, and there are two options for food: the canteen (which serves decent and hygienic food) and Maggi Point for snacks. The library is a bit cramped, but it has a good number of books for reference. There is a medical room, a beautiful green garden, and huge grounds. The hostel is decent, provides meals, basic furnishing, and has the advantage of proximity to a college, but it admits very few students based on academics.
Faculty: Faculty and academics, as a humanities student, are undoubtedly the best parts of SVC. The professors are well accomplished and experienced, and they are always up for academic discussions even outside of class timings. In the classroom, there's a non-judgmental atmosphere where everyone can speak their minds. The professors are lenient with assignments too, provided one doesn't exceed the deadline. The curriculum is refreshed every few years, so it stays relevant. Semester exams are checked leniently; however, one should take internals seriously and maintain a minimum CGPA of 5.
Other: The best thing about English honors from DU is that you really learn how to understand and analyze text to near perfection. This is a useful skill in the dying age of media literacy and can benefit one's career. Besides that, the experience at SVC—the college life—is something that stays with you for the rest of your days.

I am satisfied and gratified that I get the opportunity to be a part of this college.
Placements: Placements are not available for the English honors course because this course is intended to build a character as a professor or a teacher but as far as the college placements cell is concerned, they are active and do offer placements and internships opportunities for the students acquiring certain skills and this same case has also been applied to English honors course. Even the college has its placements program that focuses to provide internships and placements opportunities.
Infrastructure: The whole campus area has been covered with good and decent free Wi-Fi facilities for students and the point of attraction is the hygiene that they maintain throughout the year. The food quality of food that has been provided in the hostel mess is good right from its taste to hygiene perspective. In the canteen, all the items are available that they have put up on the board. This college has a separate medical room and the staff is helpful and cooperative. All the games and sports are available and this college does promote its students to take active participation in it.
Faculty: Teachers are not just only extremely well qualified but they are empathetic towards their students. When students are stressed with their syllabus management, then they are offered a picnic to them. There are no specific criteria to specify the difficulty of semester exams, but an individual who attends their lectures regularly, they not only clear the exams but they can also score good CGPA.

This college life is good and enjoyable.
Placements: The placements cell of our college is very active.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by this college are very great. The library services and classrooms infrastructure is also very good. The canteen food of this college is tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The course is taught in English. The teachers also help the students and are very qualified. Exams are not difficult as it depends on the student how well they perform.
Other: I opted for this B.A. English honors, because of my interest in it. The best thing is that get to read many knowledgeable books which expands our knowledge. Many extracurricular activities allow students to enhance their interests.

Review of SVC - Sri Venkateswara College.
Placements: The college provides many placements for students. Our placement cell is very active, and it encourages students from all courses. Students get various jobs, and some are even offered with high salary packages. Well established corporate giants to startups visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is very good beautiful. They do not provide a lift or ramp facility for specially able students and aged teachers who might have classes in second or top floors of the department. The campus is peaceful. It is an ideal place for artists in college.
Faculty: There are brilliant teachers who teach literature with a lot of passion. They take well-planned lectures. The entire department is huge, and they supported me in my tough times. Teachers in our college are good.
Other: Nexus named fest is organised in our college.

SVC - Sri Venkateswara College is the best UG college.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. All top-notch companies visited the campus. Since I am from English honours, I don't know much about other branches. Companies usually visit for courses like B.Com Hons or ECO Hons. Companies like P&G, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, E&Y, and KPMG visit the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is too good. Everything is so perfect here. Washrooms are always neat. Classrooms are spacious and well air-conditioned. The building is not too old, and we had a rock garden. Sports ground and front lawn are provided.
Faculty: My course was English Hons, and minimum qualification of all the faculty members was a PhD, and they are from renowned colleges. Every professor is supportive and encouraging. The course curriculum was good, in which I had Hindi, Maths and Economics subjects. I got to learn from teachers of different departments as well.
