Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   How much placements salary students get after studying in Terna Engineering College?

I am not satisfied with this college because of its faculty members.
Placements: The placement and training cell is not too active for core branches. They won't provide placements for computer and IT students. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 50% of students got placed in our college.
Infrastructure: Our campus is not good compared to other campuses. The canteen is small. It is situated on the 5th floor. All elevators are not good. Sometimes, they won't work. The reading room is good. A few students can accommodate in the reading room. Classrooms are updated.
Faculty: Our teachers are not good. They change teachers. They won't conduct curriculum activities. Semester exams are difficult. The question bank decided for the semester exams will get changed.
Other: I opted for this course because someone suggested me this branch.

Review about the mechatronics engineering course at Terna Engineering College.
Placements: The placement of our college lacks a little professionalism. As per the stats, about 40-60% of students get placed but mostly in IT companies, and rarely do people get into the core companies. In our course, the off-campus placement ratio is more than the on-campus placement ratio. For the past few years, the salary package offered range has been 1.2 LPA - 8 LPA. The top recruiters are IT companies like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, etc. Amongst the core, Mahindra, Godrej, and Hansa are a few companies that take 3-5 students every year. The internship ratio and the process is not so impressive. The college gives a list of companies for their respective branch and the location. However, to apply for it, you have to approach the company through their website or go in person to the office to submit your resume. The top role offered in our course was business development executive but mostly people from our course end up in the most basic level post like an engineering trainee or system-level engineer.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are average as it is in every other college. There are varieties of labs for different subjects. Terna is the first college to have a Mac lab for students. All the labs are well maintained and if maintenance is required, it is done quickly. The library and reading room are probably the best facilities provided by the college. It is said that the reading room of TEC is the best after the IIT Bombay reading room. The reading room is available from 8 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 6 PM on weekends. The hostel is now taken over by Oyo. However, the rooms are not so well maintained. The very old hostels ( the first and the second floor) are not so well maintained whereas the newly renovated floors from 3rd to 7th are in good condition. Previously, the hostel had water supply issues but recently after being taken over by Oyo, the water supply is made regular. The canteen food keeps changing every 6 months but still, more variety of dishes is required as the canteen contains a very limited menu. Another thing the TEC is known for is the sports and games facilities provided. TEC has a huge turf divided into 6 nets for various other sports and has indoor tennis courts and a room for indoor games like table tennis, chess, and carrom.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are much experienced and helpful. Our course being new, there are very mixed resources available which make studying difficult. However, our faculty members make it easy and are always ready to help you with the curriculum. The current batch has a syllabus directed by Mumbai University which is a 2019 revised C-scheme. So every year, the portion and subjects changes. Topics with the current trends are introduced so that the students become industry-ready. The first-year and the final year semester exams are corrected outside the college premises and the correction is average. However, the second and third year papers are corrected by the college and the corrections involve less errors. The overall difficulty in all these years is moderate. The questions are from the curriculum and a few of them are the most repeated ones. The passing percentage is 40% (in internals 8/20, in semester 32/80, or 24/60).
Other: Mechatronics, as the name suggests is a mixture of mechanical and electronics. Mechatronics is a course that contains 60% mechanical, 30% electronics, and 10% IT and robotics. This particular field gives you a glimpse and knowledge about every field. In the present industry scenario, having knowledge only in one field is not so useful. However, mechatronics field lets you explore a wide range of engineering and lets you choose the best you want to pick. If there was one thing I would improve in this course is to provide more accurate material so that becomes easy for the students to refer to topics and learn them. There are many professional committees with many positions to give you exposure in the best way you can. It lets you open up and show your skills at whatever you are best at. There is a technical and cultural fest held every year in the month of March or April which students get to enjoy or participate in whichever they can!

I am satisfied because of the teachers, good placements, and excellent infrastructure.
Placements: In the previous year, around 60-70% of students are placed, but in the year 2020, around 70% of students are placed. The highest salary pacakge offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, MuSigma, Amazon, Asian Paints, and many more. Most of the students get internships also, and placements rate are average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent in this college because stairs to class are excellently structured and finished great. The classes are cleaned and the facilities are good. All types of facilities are available Wi-Fi, laboratories, library, etc. The food is better in the canteen, but not healthy like homemade food.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and helpful in each session and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great and improvement is increasing daily. The college will make students ready for industry. The semester exams are tough and also tricky, and the pass percentage is 35%.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placement rate is about 70%. The highest salary package offered is about 14 LPA, which is offered to a student. The minimum salary package offered is about 1.5 LPA. About 95% of the students got internships. Various courses are offered like mechanics, mechatronics, information technology, computer science, etc.
Infrastructure: I have not gone to the college many times, and I visited the college only once to take admission. The infrastructure of our college is good, but the facilities of the college are that good. In our college, Wi-Fi and a library are available with lots of books.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very knowledgeable and talented. They provide lots of knowledge. They not only taught related to exams, but they also provide extra knowledge rather than books. It helps to overcome lots of problems in society and help to get practical experience.

See, if you have state domicile certificate then you may get the college in the second round of counselling but if you are of outside Maharashtra then it will be difficult for you to get into the college at this rank.
