Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Better placements, Far better opportunities.
Placements: From the 2024 batch, those who were enrolled for placements saw 81% of the students get placed in Dream and Normal categories. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Accenture, Oracle, Infosys, Siemens, Birla, etc., were recruiting students. The highest package awarded was 42 LPA from JP Morgan. They also provide PLI (Placement-Like Internship), which covers the first year of work as training, after which it will be converted into a full-time job. Overall, if you are regular for sessions and maintain a CGPA above 7.83,, you'll be able to apply for Super Dream companies as well.
Infrastructure: The hostel provided by our college is categorized into three types according to the amenities provided. There is no mess; you have to manage your own food, but there are tiffinwalas available throughout the area. Cleanliness is top-notch, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel area.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable. They'll not push beyond the subject that is being taught; they'll teach only what's in the book. Practical sessions are average; some labs have equipment, some do not. The curriculum, however, aligns properly with industry standards, but the missing element is a connection with the industry. The semester exams are set using AI-generated questions. Almost 95% of students get promoted to the next semester.
Other: The infrastructure of our college is one of a kind. The canteen is good and clean. The crowd is also friendly. Our college supports holistic development throughout the course. I personally am in a photography club that captures all the events of the college: @tcet_capture.

Now that I am in the final year, I am very happy to have such good memories with my friends.
Placements: Placements at TCET are quite decent according to the freshers. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc., visit the college to recruit final-year students through exams like aptitude and technical grounds. The minimum salary starts from 3 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the labs is quite decent. As for my course, we have also introduced 3D printing machines in our college, which is amazing and helps students gain in-depth knowledge about the machines. The hostel at TCET is also decent in terms of the services provided but lacks in food.
Faculty: Faculty members are good with students and also supportive in their personal projects or throughout their academics. Exams are taken on a scheduled basis, which are easy and also competitive at the same time. To score a good GPI, you need to have proper knowledge about the respective course.

Satisfied by the campus and crowd.
Placements: Till now, the placement is good, but as the course is new, I am not aware of the package that will be offered in this course. As the course is related to the mechanical branch, students can also apply to this course, which is good for them. Top recruiting companies are not aware because the course is new. Almost all the students can get an internship, as it depends on how they approach the company for the interview.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, and the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom and libraries are good. I am not the hostel person so I cannot say anything about the hostel facilities. The quality of the food is quite good in the canteen. The medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: The curriculum course is not relevant for the industry; students need to put in some extra effort for it so that they can be ready for the industry. The semester exams are not too much difficult but the students need to prepare for them. The pass percentage or passing CGPA, is 6.
Other: The crowd at the college is good and the campus life is also good.

Cooler is the name. Coolers are the faculty here with great knowledge.
Placements: 50-60% of students are placed from our course. 3 Lacs-9 Lacs is a rough amount of the average package. Top recruiting companies are Byju's, Infosys, and TCS, along with other IT companies, even in core jobs. Sales Management and Quality Control are types of roles offered to newbies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well maintained, plus it is safe and hygienic. We have spacious, big labs for individual subjects and various types of machines used in engineering. The quality of food in the mess or canteen is acceptable, with variety, and it's cheap and clean.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful, as they bond with us and bring the best out of us using their expertise for our industrial nourishment. Definitely, this curriculum makes us industrial-ready, even giving us a boost in it. The average percentage is around 8 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted a job in the core industry, and there are plenty of events in the college to enjoy my college life to the fullest.
