Campus life is good. Placement is not good here. If you choose higher study then you can go with it.
Placements: There were 30 students in our batch. None of the students were placed as it was the time of covid. Everybody chose higher studies like M.Sc in Statistics M.Sc. in data Science and also some of us chose MBA. Also there was no news about internships programmes.
Infrastructure: There is one lab for only third year students who have R programming as their DSE. Library is always available and also the department is very good. There is no Wi-Fi available for students. No hostel facility available here. Students who come from other state can find some PG.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful but as our department is not so old they lack experience. They focus more on practicals than theory based knowledge. The semester exams seem not so difficult as it's only about six months and there's always the pressure on you to do some good work.
Other: Our department can recruit more experienced teachers who can mix up the experience with our new age energy.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, good placements and campus atmosphere.
Placements: Senior batches got opportunities in IITs sector, and others are studying in Viswabharati University, Jadavpur University etc. Only one student has got a job who is now doing M.Sc. in Viswabharati while campusing was going on. The salary offered to him was Rs. 50,000. Internships offered are also good.
Infrastructure: The campus is very good. Classrooms are good but small. Since we do practicals in our classroom, we don't need any lab, but the computer lab is very good. The college union organises sports, and teachers also support us. The canteen area is not much good. It's an anti-ragging college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Our department head is too good and supportive. He is very responsible and supportive. Not only that, but he also cheers up for sports and other activities. He takes the initiative and tries to make studies easy for us. The college has 3 female faculty members who are very good and responsible. They care for us and help us with any problem. They are very frank and cheerful.
Other: Mainly, the journalism department takes care of scholarships. The college was awarded for Kanyashree Prakalpa. The office staff are very helpful. Social works are also conducted. Many events like Dol Utsab, Natyamela, cancer awareness programme, etc., are conducted on the campus.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and atmosphere.
Placements: Placements in college are great. One of our seniors got a job in campus placements, and he was offered a salary of Rs. 60,000 per month. Two seniors ranked in CU exam, and one senior got a seat in IIT. A student got a seat in Ramakrishna Mission, and two seniors presented cryptography in Ramakrishna Mission College.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are great, and the library has a great collection of books. Sports quizzes, cultural programmes, etc., happen very often. We need only computer labs in statistics which are also very good. The canteen area is good, but the union team keeps smoking there. The food served is good. There are also many departments for curricular activities which are very good.
Faculty: There are four teachers four our branch. All of them are young and very helpful. They try to do as much as possible in the college hours. They are very understanding and help us with every problem. They not only encourage students to study, but they also support us for sports and other extracurricular activities.
Other: The campus surroundings are good, and there are many places for sports. The area is very crowded. There are different clubs for different extracurricular activities and games.

Moderately good college affiliated to University of Calcutta
Placements: The statistics department only offers a bachelor degree. However, our seniors have got chance in many noteworthy universities such as Calcutta University, Presidency, etc. Speaking of the college, the science section of the college is one of the best in the city that offers bachelor degree courses. Master's degree course is available in history and bengali.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi facility provided by Jio-net, but it does not work well. The classrooms are moderate and non-A/C. There is a large open field on the campus, where cricket and football are played mostly. The labs of the certain departments are well maintained. There is no such union pressure, and moreover, the union works for the betterment of the college, even political meetings are not held here. It is well connected by the transportation system. There is a central library, where some good books are available. Gym and board games are also played here. The college has been accredited A by NAAC. The hostel facility is not available, and canteen food is cheap but not that bad.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and approachable, they are helpful, and at times they conduct extracurricular activities like debate competition, quiz competition, etc. The method of teaching is nice, but nothing Hi-Fi. The student-teacher ratio is about 7:1 for each year. In some departments, the ratio is lower even with full faculty.
Other: The college is good enough, and one may take admission easily. No need of giving bribes to the union as admissions are strictly based on merit. The atmosphere is nice here, with no political or union pressure. One might take admission to this college if he/she wants to study at the University of Calcutta.

I am satisfied because of the campus atmosphere.
Placements: Placements are good. Seniors are doing M.Sc in different universities like Viswabharati University, Jadavpur University and others. Our department is 5 years old. Till now, one of the students in the 1st batch of M.Sc got a job on campus in Viswabharati and was offered a good salary package.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is good. The statistics department doesn't need labs except for the computer lab. Other labs are also good. Classrooms are airy, but our classroom is not much spacious. Our college library is always good to read books, and it is well-maintained and has a good collection. Canteen food is not that good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and help us in any possible way. They try to make studies a practical experience. They are very supportive of sports and other activities. They are much responsible, and they take classes properly. Everyone likes to take classes.
Other: Campus surroundings are good. Scholarship details are mainly informed by the journalism department, and they are very supportive. This college was awarded 1st prize for Kanyasree in 2018. There is much scope for extracurricular activities. Our college union organises sports, and students are engaged in social works. Many events are celebrated like Dol Utsab, Natyamela, cancer awareness program, etc.
