B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2017

Our college is good in terms of punctuality but is very strict and has less experienced teachers.
Placements: About 70% of the students from our course were placed. The salary offered may be around Rs. 15,000 per month. Chip design and electronics -elated companies are the top recruiters of our course. The salary offered in our course will range from Rs. 10,000 per month to 1.5 lac per month. None of the students joined in an internship. None of the companies visits here for campus interviews.
Infrastructure: Our college is good in terms of the environment. Our college is situated in the middle of paddy crop areas. Facilities available here will be average compared with all other colleges. However, lab facilities, programming labs, etc., are available. In the library, all types of books related to our core subjects were available.
Faculty: Our staff members are qualified but not very much talented. Their teaching quality is average. Many of the faculty members were newly appointed and recently completed their graduates. This course curriculum is relevant, but the education provided here will be a little bit not good due to less experienced faculty members.
Other: I'm interested in joining the ECE course. This course is completely related to electronics and inter-chip programming. Basically, electronics plays a major role in all industries. I wish that our college should improve well-educated faculty members and should develop real-time experience laboratories. Our college doesn't organise any type of fest conducted. However, the scholarship facility is available.

The college's standards are below average.
Placements: There were fake placements during my tenure. The management invited fake companies and some BPOs, and they selected a few candidates also. But after the completion of our course, the selected candidates were not informed about their joining and students didn't get any call letter too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is not that good. There are no medical facilities even for some minor issues. Even sports and games are not much encouraged in college. There is no Wi-Fi facility, and mobiles are not allowed to college. My mobile was taken in the 2nd year and returned after the completion of my course for a fine.
Faculty: The faculty members were good until my third year, but after that, they brought some inexperienced people who were just 1 or 2 years seniors to us. Some faculty members just passed time in the class, and there was no in-depth explanation of subjects. Core subjects were also not taken care of.
Other: There are mainly 1 or 2 events conducted in the whole year, and the fest was started recently 2 years back. The campus crowd is decreasing yearly.

Our college has good teaching staff members but technology is not so good.
Placements: There are almost 90 students in their final year, 81 in the third year, 97 in the 2nd year, and 60 in the 1st year. The lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA, the average salary package offered is 3.4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 8.4 LPA. Top MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Byju's, etc. Almost 20% of students got internships at Sailotech and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: In our department, labs are good but the internet connection is a bit disappointing in ordinary classrooms and corridors. The infrastructure of our college is not satisfactory. There is no aspartate hostel facility in our college. Most of the students are from the locality only.
Faculty: Our college has 12 teaching staff members and 4 non-teaching staff members. They do well. Staff members are good but it depends on the individual. It matters a lot that JNTUK is not supposed to pass the examinations at first and do that thing in revaluations.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested. It provides a better opportunity than other courses. It is a type of technology that is used to explain things in colleges and other places.
