Review of Walchand College of Engineering.
Placements: Our college has an active placement cell, but on grounds, there is not a single placement for Polytechnic courses as per my knowledge and reach. About internship, I would say that students hunt for internships, and they acquire it on their own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is, I would say, average. The hostel is also average. The mess food is enough just for survival.
Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful. All the teachers here are well qualified. The course curriculum is important as per your ambition. If you are interested in preparing for government jobs, semester exams would be easy for you. I guess 80-85% is the pass percentage in my course.
Other: I chose this course because I needed a degree to prepare for JEE and other government jobs. I found Polytechnic to be helpful for me, and I would request the college to improve infrastructure and hostel life for students. The events held are good. The campus surroundings are very good. You can apply for state government scholarships.
