I'm not satisfied with some of the faculty; otherwise, the whole college is better.
Placements: 80-90 percent of students from my batch were placed in various companies. The highest package was 12.5 Lacs, and the average package for mechanical placement is 7.5-8 Lacs per annum. Yes, students get internships also in various multinational companies. It has a very good PPO after the completion of the internship.
Infrastructure: Academic Infrastructure: Well-equipped classrooms with multimedia projectors and modern teaching aids, specialized engineering laboratories for each department, including computer labs, electronics labs, mechanical workshops, etc. A central library with over 80,000 books.
Faculty: Teaching Faculty: Most faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees or are pursuing doctoral studies. Many professors have industry experience and research publications. The teaching quality varies by department but is generally considered above average. Faculty members are typically accessible for doubt-solving and guidance. Many professors are involved in research projects and consultancy work.
Other: Notable Strengths: Strong brand value as one of Maharashtra's oldest and most reputed engineering colleges. Excellent placement record with top companies visiting campus. High-quality technical education with an emphasis on practical learning. Strong alumni network across various industries. Affordable education compared to private colleges. The merit-based admission process ensures a quality peer group.

One of the Premium Institutes from Maharashtra.
Placements: AIML introduced this year only. So, no placement of this course for the next 3-4 years, but placements of AIML will be similar to IT. IT students are hired by big companies like Cred, Rubric, etc. Around 60 LPA was the highest salary offered this time. Average is around 12-13 LPA. The lowest drops to 4 LPA. Almost 80% students get internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good. As the college is from 1947, some old buildings are there. Wi-Fi facility is all over the campus with great connectivity and great performance. The library is well established. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped. The hostel is in old buildings, but the newly constructed Cyber Hostel is better than previous ones. There are two messes in the college; both of them are good.
Faculty: Almost every teacher is helpful to students. Teachers are well qualified with knowledge of their subjects properly. Our course, AIML, has been designed considering CS and IT courses. Semester exams are moderate, but some subjects students face difficulty.

Review of Walchand College of Engineering.
Placements: A high percentage of students get placed in top companies from my course: more than 70%. The highest package offered to them is more than 16 lacs for year and the lowest is 3 lacs. The percentage of student internships in this course is more than 80% in my course, like Accenture and HDFC Bank.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available in my course. Wi-Fi is there in the classroom. The library is available for all students in college. The food of the college canteen is so good but is tasteless. Medical facility is not available in this course. But sports and games facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers in my course were so helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They had great teaching quality. This course is curriculum relevant and students are made industry ready. The semester exam in this course is so easy; therefore, the pass percentage is more than 60% in the exam.
Other: I chose this course to learn computers. Events are so good. Scholarship is available. Extracurricular activities happened.

Honest review of Walchand College of Engineering.
Placements: I'm a first-year student, and my branch is Information Technology. In the technical sector, out of 100%, around 85-90% of students got placed. Overall the average salary package offered ranges from 6-9 LPA. Many top companies visit the campus to provide internships and placements.
Infrastructure: Our college is very good. The campus is spread over 90 acres. It is filled with greenery and trees. The campus has 3 cafes and a large playground, along with badminton, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis courts. It also has a gym which is always open except on Sunday. However, the hostel is not well-developed.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and well-qualified. Most of them have done their masters and some are PhD holders in their subject. They have excellent work experience. They are always there to support students. They help in each aspect of both studies and extracurricular activities.
Other: My batch is Information Technology, and I took admission through the OBC category, so my fee is around Rs. 75,000 per year. But for the open category, it is around Rs. 95,000 per year. The hostel fee for all students is Rs. 28,000 per year, though this might change. It is best to check the website for the most up-to-date information.

Review of Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli.
Placements: Placement rate at our college is pretty good. Almost 90%-95% of students manage to secure placements by end of their final year. Salary packages offered are decent. Top-notch companies visit to hire students from this college, which is considered one of best colleges in Maharashtra.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi facilities available 24/7 across our college campus, which spans 90 acres. We offer almost all sports facilities, including cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, and badminton courts. Additionally, there are a total of three canteens throughout the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very cooperative. We students don't hesitate to ask any of our queries, and faculty members are always open to solving our doubts. This course does indeed make us industry-ready. We have two examinations in each semester: one mid-semester exam and one end-semester exam. Total passing marks for each subject are 40 out of 100.

Absolutely better college than others in Maharashtra, except COEP. This college is the best.
Placements: 87% of students are placed every year on average. This year, 58% of students got placements, and campus interviews are still going on. Microsoft is a company that often gives good as well as the highest package of the year. Data analyst is the top course offered by companies.
Infrastructure: They gave the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, digital classrooms, and a big library. The hostel is pretty good, and the mess facility is below average. The mess is not good inside the campus; you have to join the mess outside the college campus. Overall, campus life is average.
Faculty: There is highly qualified and experienced faculty available in Walchand College of Engineering. New faculty members have also joined because, from this year onwards, there are two sub-branches of CSE: CSE (aided) and CSE (unaided). The curriculum is the best among all colleges in Maharashtra. Exams are slightly difficult, and for passing, you have to score a minimum of 40 marks out of 100 in each subject.
Other: My branch is Computer Science and Technology, and in this field, there is various kinds of enthusiasm. For the CSE branch in this college, there are a number of clubs available, so if you are interested in teaching, then come to Walchand College of Engineering.
