One of the greenest campus in Maharashtra.
Placements: As civil engineering, you can not expect more packages. But this college provides you good placement in civil engineering as well. The highest package for civil engineering is 18 LPA, which is very much better than other colleges in Maharashtra except COEP.
Infrastructure: It is a totally wifi-enabled campus. The civil engineering department is the oldest as well as one of the biggest departments in this college. The smart board in almost all classes or projector is there. Talking about libraries, here is the biggest library in Maharashtra.
Faculty: Some faculties are really good. They teach you with their full potential but as of in every government colleges, some faculties teaches like they are forced to teach. Lab facilities are good; all required equipments is in good condition. Recently, college has started doubt sessions as well.

Good placements in 2021, good infrastructure and good faculty.
Placements: Walchand is the oldest college and it has offers from many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Adobe. The highest packages were around 67 lacs and 30 lacs per annum, and then outside placements were different. L&T has a good placement rate compared to many other big companies.
Infrastructure: It has the biggest library, Wi-Fi and labs for practices. Walchand has the Ajit Gulab Hand Library, which is the best and has 24 hours open study rooms in hostels, mess is provided, sports are there and many more events are conducted for students. There are two canteens and 96 acres of college area.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable and their teaching quality is good. Teachers are all Ph.D.s, 50 years of age or older and have experience. Semester exams are difficult to score as teachers check very hard and set questions harder. Nearly 90 percent of students are passing with AKT .

According to me, it is the best college for civil engineering in Maharashtra.
Placements: This college has very large network of alumni in every area of reputed civil engineering companies so it has high opportunities as compared to other college in Maharashtra like Tata Infra, IRB, L and T, Godrej and Boyce, Adani, etc. These companies come to college for placement drives, from engineer trainee to project engineer roles with 5 LPA to 12 LPA packages.
Infrastructure: The college has great and old infrastructure spread over acres in a nice place in Sangli, with all types of facilities for all students, especially hostellers. Having a hostel with a lower price on campus, having a hygienic mess and canteen in a nearby area, and having large grounds in the campus reading rooms with a precious library.
Faculty: Teachers are coming from very qualified backgrounds as they are giving mpsc so they know competition in the engineering sector and what should be the strategy to avail of opportunities in the government sector so they have given us guidance for competitive exams as well as preparation for the private sector. The course curriculum is highly project based so it is industry-ready .

I would recommend students to join this college.
Placements: All students got placed in all courses because students are also clever and intelligent. The highest salary package for students in the computer branch is 27 LPA, and civil students get a salary package of 10 LPA. Companies are Cognizant, LTI, L&T, IRB, and HCL. Our college appointed students to do internships on various sites.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all essential facilities to every student. Labs and classrooms are well maintained. Canteen and mess are also good for hostellers. Sports and games are played with many facilities. The quality of food is good and hygienic. It is an old college but the infrastructure is well-maintained.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified. They come from strong educational backgrounds. They successfully cracked MPSC-like exams, so they are knowledgeable. They always give more knowledge regarding competitive exams. The course curriculum is so good for students to be industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course to take competitive exams and to join government jobs as a civil engineer. Events and fests are conducted during February and March. Scholarships are provided for cracking exams on special occasions.

Really good placement from Last 3-4 years .
Placements: Around 90% + placement for CS it students and 80%+ for electronic and good placement for core branches than other colleges. Many companies like Google, Amazon, linkdin and other international companies are there for placement also they arrange hackathon events in college.
Infrastructure: Boys hostel is old-age hostel otherwise it is good. Free Wi-Fi facility is provided 24*7 in whole campus. Study room for boys and girls are provided. One of the biggest library in Asia belongs to Walchand college of engineering. Canteen are there. Overall infrastructure is good.
Faculty: As institute is autonomous the syllabus is designed as per requirement and faculty members are highly educated from IIT, iisc's with Ph.D. Teaching is good and exam pattern is of 20+20+60 pattern. Semester exam is beat tough but if you are studied then not a problem.
