Placements: The placement committee is one of the upcoming committees among others and is not one of the boastful element of college. From my experience during my time, this is not an ideal institution if one expects the college to assist in the placements or career counselling. The companies that visit for the placements, mostly offer BPO-operation profile or sales profile and core profiles related to the courses are hard to come by. This situation is not at all permanent and with time, may improve with th...
Placements: My college provides the great opportunities for all the students. Overall, about 80% of the students of my batch have taken part in the placement programme this year, which is higher than our senior batch's contribution of 74% students. About, 87% got placed from overall students who took part in it. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month, the lowest was Rs. 9,000 per month and the average was Rs. 16,000 per month. Many of the MNC's(Reebok, KFC, McDonald's, etc.)., and the popular d...
Placements: The placements do take place on the campus, and I've no fair idea about the recent recruits, but the good level of placements do take place everywhere. The big firms do come for the placements and internships every year because the placement cell is active, which engaging the students into that. Since the studies are given priority here, some academicians have been graduated from here. The others included the top officials in government organizations, politicians, actors, academicians, IAS/IPS, ...
Placements: The college provides good placement in the different companies like Wipro, Genpact, and many more companies take the interview of the student. My college has the good faculty of placement organised, and the faculty also help student to student to face the company interview.
Placements: The placement team works hard towards getting the students placed. The ample of opportunities were provided to the students. Most of the companies visit the campus to hire the students. The Delhi University provided the pool campus opportunities. The faculty members helped the students to learn the skills required for the jobs.
Placements: The college provides the good placements to the deserving students in their field. The management companies come and select the students on the basis of their potential and intelligence. The professors reach the college to have a view of the intellectual students, who are good on their subject.
Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, not many students opt for the placements right after under graduation. But the placement and the summer internships are offered through central placement cell. The companies are limited but provide good profiles to gain work experience before post graduation.
Placements: The college doesn't provide the placements to the students, and this is only the lacking point of this college which gets down by the rating. The faculty should think about that and start this facility to make the students career after pass out from their college. If students placed in the good companies, it will be better for them.
Placements: Delhi University provides students with the best central placement cell. We get good packages, around 5 LPA. Generally, students do MA after completing BA. Therefore students are not much interested in placements during graduation. Many companies visit every year for the placements while pursuing graduation. B.com students get the maximum number of placement companies.
Placements: As Zakir Hussain College belongs to the University of Delhi, mostly, placements are done through the university placement cell. Still, a few companies used to visit the college campus and hire a few students mostly from the commerce section and the Mathematics stream. As I heard from my mathematics friend, a student from their batch has got 4 lacs per annum package which was the highest one among all the placements (he got in actuarial science while he is from BSc maths honours). About the inter...
Placements: Placements were good enough. Wipro hired many of us through campus placement. But not many companies visited for placements. I have heard that many commerce students got through rigorous placement interviews. We were given training for the same, prior to placements.
It is one of the oldest colleges in University of Delhi. It offers a lot of graduation courses from (humanities to commerce) as well as post graduate courses. The infrastructure of the college is one of the best in Delhi University with a huge auditorium. The college is specialized in commerce courses. Overall, placement for the B.com graduates is not that impressive due to limited career opportunities for fresher’s in Delhi.
College is located in the heart of Delhi with very ease of reaching from any corner of the city. Teaching staff is very experienced with unfortunately some naive recently temporarily recruited professors. College life is not that lush which you expect from a college. but Connaught place always gives you warm welcome with its massive market inside out. zakir Husain college is serious about its reputation and safety of girls .
Zakir Hussain College is one of the best colleges in Delhi. I did my B.Com (H) from this college. I got 83% marks in the class XII but the cutoff of B.Com (H) was very high. Finally I got admission in the third cutoff list of Zakir Hussain College. I love the campus atmosphere. The faculty was very experienced. Most of them were notable writers and they have been written many books. It was nice to see that the text books we have read in the college were written by our college faculty. Zakir Hus...
Placements: Since my course was Political Science Hons., there wasn't much placement as such. Most of them went on to pursue Masters or prepared for the Civil Services Examination. A few went ahead with Law, too. Though a few of them indeed chose some MNCs for the consulting domain.
Placements: Almost 70% students are placed in my course. The average package is around 500000 pa while the lowest is goes to 80000 pa and the highest to a good 2500000 pa. Top recruiting companies have come for placements such as ICIC bank, Bajaj finserv, Max Life Insurance etc.
Placements: Approximately 20 percent got placement, 3 to 4 LPA, and a minimum of 1 to 1.5 LPA, and in companies like Mahindra, 40 percent got internships, and Mahindra is the main one. There are also good faculty and libraries with a good environment, and a placement cell is there to make the process easy.
Placements: About 80% of students from same course got placements from campus and there is big event organised by college for pla cements and big companies like IBM, TATA, Amazon and Bajaj are the top companies in hiring process. There is a complete induction for students before starting of placement interviews.
Placements: Sixty-nine percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course was 7 lakhs, the lowest was 3 lakhs, and the average was 4 lakhs. Top recruiting companies for our course are Accenture, TATA Consultancy Services, Genpact, HDFC Bank, Cognizant, and more. Forty-three percent of students got internships from our course in TATA Consultancy and HDFC Bank. The top roles offered in our course are in publishing, media, and advertising, with a few more roles beyond this...
