CEED 2024 Toppers - IIT Bombay has declared the results of CEED 2024 on March 6, 2024. With the results now out, IIT Bombay will soon release the list of CEED 2024 toppers. The Topper List will include details like the names of candidates who topped the exam, their scores, and overall & category ranks. CEED 2024 results declared 

The results of the CEED 2024 exam were declared on March 6, 2024. The results have been declared online at the CEED 2024 admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. To check your results, you need to log in to the result portal using your email ID and password.

Q:   In how many cities will the CEED 2025 exam be conducted?

A:

IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2025 exam in 27 cities. Note that each of these cities may have one or more exam centres. However, when filling out the CEED 2025 application form, the candidate only needs to select an exam city. In fact, it is mandatory to select THREE exam cities in the order of priority.

Q:   Has IIT Bombay released the list of exam centres for CEED 2025?

A:

The list of CEED 2025 exam centres will be released by IIT Bombay. The list will be given in the CEED 2025 information brochure.

The candidate can download the brochure at ceed.iitb.ac.in.

The CEED 2025 exam will be conducted across 27 cities - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Mysuru, Nagpur, Noida, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Visakhapatnam.

Q:   When should I start my preparation for CEED 2025?

A:

The CEED 2025 exam will be conducted on January 19, 2025. 

So, the candidate has a three months or so to prepare for the exam. Given the CEED 2025 syllabus is of moderate to difficult, you would ideally need 6 months or so to prepare for the exam. 

That being said, if your fundamentals are strong, you can cover the syllabus in less time. Before starting you preparation, go through the syllabus and pattern, and draft a plan. Once the plan is ready, get going with full guns blazing.

Note that to fully prepare for the exam, you need to solve sample papers and take mock tests.

What next?

The CEED 2024 result contains the minimum qualifying marks for each category. Click on the link to see if you have qualified in the exam.

If you have qualified in CEED 2024, then you need to apply for admission to CEED 2024 participating colleges. Note that IIT Bombay will not conduct any joint counseling process unlike UCEED 2024.

The counseling application for CEED 2024 participating colleges will open in the next week or so. 

So, you need to keep visiting the admission portal of the participating college.

About CEED 2024 exam

IIT Bombay conducted the CEED 2024 exam on January 21, 2024. The exam had two parts - Part A and Part B.

Part A included objective-type questions and was conducted in a computer-based mode; meanwhile, Part B was conducted in an offline mode.]

Q:   When will the CEED 2025 exam be conducted?

A:

IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am - 12 noon).

The exam will includ two sections - Part A and Part B. Part A of the exam will be administered in a computer-based mode, whereas Part B will be held offline. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify for Part A. 

If the candidate fails to qualify for Part A, his or her Part B answers booklet will not be evaluated. 

The final score cum merit list of CEED 2025 will be calculated by giving weightage to both Part A and Part B.

Q:   What kind of stationery items I should carry to CEED 2025 exam centre?

A:

The candidate will not be provided with any stationery at the exam venue. So, it is incumbent the candidates themselves bring these essential stationery items with them.

Here are the basic minimum stationery items needed to take the CEED 2025 exam.

  • Pens

  • Pencils

  • Sketch pens 

  • Colours for the examination

However, note that sheets are not allowed inside the exam hall.

Q:   What is the validity of the CEED 2025 scorecard?

A:

The scorecard of CEED 2025 will be released on March 10, 2025; the candidate can download the scorecard till June 11, 2025.

The validity of the scorecard will be one year from the date of its issue. Using the scorecard, the candidate can apply for admission to both CEED 2025 participating and result-sharing institutes.

The scorecard will carry details like the Qualifying status and Part A marks. Open & category-wise Merit rank, and Part B & Total marks will be issued only if the candidate has qualified Part A.

IIT Roorkee doesn't offer PhD in Design course through CEED. It only offers a MDes in Industrial Design.
 
Admission to the M.Des program will be based on CEED 2025 merit rank. The candidate will have to apply directly to the participating college once results are declared.

  • NAT (Numerical Answer Type): 8 questions
  • MSQ (Multiple Select Question): 10 questions
  • MCQ (Multiple Choice Question): 26 questions
