IIT Guwahati BDes Fee Structure
Aspirants can secure admission in Bachelor of Design (BDes) course offered at IIT Guwahati if they secure a good rank in UCEED exam.
Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design 2019 (UCEED 2019) is conducted by IDC, IIT Bombay and aspirants who secure a good rank in the exam are eligible to secure admission in BDes programme offered in colleges accepting UCEED ranks for admission.
Candidates are informed that IIT Guwahati has the same fee structure for both BTech as well as BDes programmes offered at its campus.
Regarding the fee to be paid, candidates are informed that:
- SC/ST/PwD students will get complete fee waiver.
- The most economically backward students, that is, whose family income is less than Rs 1 lakh per annum, shall get full remission of the fee.
- Other economically backward students, that is, whose family income is between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakhs per annum, shall get remission of 2/3rd of the fee.
- All students shall have access to interest free loan under the Vidyalaxmi Scheme for the total portion of the tuition fee payable.
