IIT Bombay will also conduct UCEED 2025 mock exams that candidates can take to test their exam readiness and fix areas that need attention. To prepare for the exam, it is recommended that the candidate take the mock tests.

The mocks will help the candidate identify the weak areas, silly mistakes, and conceptual challenges that need to be fixed before the big day.

Note that mock tests will contain the same type of questions to those asked in the entrance exam. So, they will typically be of the same difficulty level.

Also, mocks are taken closer to the exam so that you can give the finishing touches to your preparation.

The candidate can solve sample papers at any time during their exam preparation. However, it is recommended that the candidate doesn't wait too long to start solving mock papers. For instance, the candidate can start solving problems given in the sample papers once they have completed a topic or chapter. To do this exercise, figure out all the problems related to that chapter and solve them.

You can move deeper into your UCEED 2025 preparation, you will be able to solve problems from a wider spectrum.

Mock Test for UCEED 2025

IIT Bombay doesn't typically conduct any mock tests for UCEED. But there are many coaching institutes that does conduct mock tests. Additionally, the candidate may also take mocks conducted by other coaching institutes.

In case IIT Bombay conducts mock tests for UCEED, here is what it will look like:

1. The mock tests will be in order to give students a look/ feel of the exam.
2. The login details are already filled in, so aspirants need to simply click on the "Sign In" button to start the test. Do not try to login with your UCEED 2022 registration id and password for this test.
3. The Sample/Practice exam is designed and optimized to run on a computer Browser. It may not work on tablet or other mobile devices.
4. The clock is set at the server for UCEED sample paper. The countdown timer in the top right corner of the screen displays the remaining time available for students to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. Candidates are not required to end or submit their paper.
5. Candidates can click on the ">" arrow which appears on the left-hand side to collapse the question palette thereby maximising the question window. To view the question palette again, one can click on "
6. Aspirants can click on their "Profile" image on the top right corner of your screen to change the language during the UCEED exam for the entire question paper. On clicking of the Profile image, a drop-down will appear to change the question content to the desired language.
7. In order to see the part B for the sample/practice exam, the candidate must wait for 30 minutes.

Navigating to a Question:

To answer a question, candidates need to perform the below-mentioned steps:

1. Click on the UCEED question number in the Question Palette at the right of their screen to go to that numbered question directly. Note that using this option does not save the answer to the current question.
2. Click on the 'Save & Next' button to save the answer for the current question and then go to the next question.
3. Click on the 'Mark for Review & Next' button to save the answer for the current question, mark it for review, and then go to the next question.

Answering a Question :

Procedure for answering a multiple choice type question:

1. To select your answer, click on the button of one of the options
2. To deselect the selected answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click on the 'Clear Response' button
3. To change the chosen answer, candidates need to click on the button of another option
4. To save the answer, aspirants must click on the 'Save & Next' button
5. To mark the question for review, click on the 'Mark for Review & Next' button.
6. To change the answer to a question that has already been answered, first select that question for answering and then follow the procedure for answering that type of question.

Navigating through sections:

1. Sections in the UCEED question paper are displayed on the top bar of the screen. Questions in a section can be viewed by clicking on the section name. The section one is currently viewing is highlighted.
2. After clicking the 'Save & Next' button on the last question for a section, candidates will automatically be taken to the first question of the next section of the UCEED sample paper.
3. Aspirants can shuffle between sections and questions anytime during the examination as per your convenience only during the time stipulated.
4. Candidates can view the corresponding section summary as part of the legend that appears in every section above the question palette.
