DTU ranks 29 and IIIT Delhi ranks 85 as per the NIRF ranking 2024 under the “Engineering” category. The total tuition fee for BTech is INR 3 lakh – INR 6.4 lakh at DTU and INR 18 lakh at IIIT Delhi. The highest domestic package offered during IIIT Delhi BTech 2023 placements was INR 51.03 lakh. Additionally, in DTU, the highest package offered in 2022 was INR 64.23 lakh. Considering the mentioned data, DTU is definitely a better choice for BTech course aspirants.

Admission to the BTech programme is done basis JEE Main score followed by JAC Delhi Counselling. For Delhi-based students, admission to BTech CSD and CSSS programmes is done basis of UCEED rank and Class 12 marks, respectively. Candidates who further meet the minimum eligibility criteria can fill out the admission form. Eligible students can submit their application through the IIIT Delhi official website. The result is further announced to declare the names of the candidates selected for further selection rounds.

There are a total of 548 seats for IIIT Delhi BTech programmes. The seat count varies for each of the course specialisation. Some of the candidates may get seat relaxation during the allotment procedure. Moreover, the seat intake mentioned here is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.

In 2022, the cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Delhi other than General category was - 11759 for OBC, 45090 for SC, 61386 for ST, and 5266 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 4554 and closing rank was 4659 in 2023. The cutoff in 2024 for the all-India quota ranged from 6695 to 9975. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Biosciences in IIIT Delhi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
