The authority will open the recruitment for the post of Assistant Executive Trainees. Aspirants who have passed or studied Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering will be eligible to apply for DDA Recruitment through GATE 2025. The application form for DDA recruitment through GATE will be released online, where candidates can apply for the post of Assistant Executive Trainee. Candidates must register online and pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 500 (General/ OBC categories only). SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates are exempt from paying the fee for DDA Recruitment through GATE 2025. Eligible candidates must participate in the Group Discussion/ Interview/ Joining at DDA.

Eligibility Criteria for DDA Recruitment through GATE 2025
DDA prescribes the eligibility criteria of DDA. Check the eligibility requirements from below.
Q: For how many papers can one student apply in GATE 2025?
Students applying for GATE 2025 can opt for two subject papers from the prescribed set of combinations. Earlier, the candidates could apply to appear in only one subject. As a candidate can appear in only two papers (only approved set) of the 30 papers for which GATE 2025 will be conducted, they must carefully choose the papers they wish to write. A candidate is expected to appear in the papers appropriate to the discipline of his or her qualifying degree. However, he or she is free to choose any paper according to his or her admission plan, keeping in mind the GATE eligibility criteria of the institutions in which he or she wishes to seek admission. Those candidates opting for two paper combinations for GATE 2025 have a primary choice of paper as their default choice. The second choice of paper has to be chosen from the allowed combinations. Q: What are passing marks in GATE exam?
Passing marks in GATE exam is different for all 30 papers. The GATE qualifying mark for PSUs recruitment is also different. Candidates appearing in any GATE paper have to obtain the minimum mark in order to be declared qualified for the exam. Only qualified candidates are considered for admission to MTech/MSc/PhD programs and the MHRD scholarship. Q: Who can give GATE exam?
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for admission to Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), and direct PhD programs in engineering, architecture, and related branches of science.
The eligibility criteria for GATE include passing a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology or basic Science from a recognised university, and meeting the specific eligibility criteria for the discipline you wish to pursue. Candidates from India and other countries can apply for GATE, but they must meet the eligibility criteria. The exam is conducted online and is offered in 30 subjects. Nationality - Indian nationals can apply for the post
Qualifying exam - Candidates must have passed a full-time 4 years bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering
Age Criteria - The maximum age limit for the General category candidates is 30 years. The minimum age allowed is 21 years. Relaxation to different category candidates as per Govt regulations. Relaxation in the age criteria will be available for reserved category applicants.
Non-Objection Certificate - All candidates employed in Government/Semi-Government/Central/State Government Departments/Public Sector Undertakings are required to produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer during the interview if they are shortlisted.
Selection Procedure:
- The candidates, who will meet eligibility criteria prescribed by the authority, appeared/qualified the GATE 2025 examination, and registered with DDA for recruitment, will be shortlisted for interview based on their GATE 2025 score.
- The weightage of GATE score will be 85% and the interview will be 15%
- The period of probation for the selected candidates will be of two years in house training regarding departmental procedures etc.
- Probation of the candidate will be confirmed after completing/passing the departmental examination prescribed by DDA.
DDA Recruitment through GATE 2025 – Application Form
- The application form of DDA recruitment through GATE will be available online on the official website. No other mode of application will be available.
- To apply for the post, candidates must visit the DDA home page – Jobs – Direct Recruitment 2025. Candidates must provide correct information while filling out the application form.

- After submitting the application form, candidates must take a printout of the application and keep it safe for future reference.

Mode of application fee payment
- Application Fee will be of Rs 500 for all categories (Gen/OBC-NCL/SC/ST) of posts. Candidates have to bear the transaction charges of the bank, taxes, as applicable
- All female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Persons with Disabilities are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government orders.
- Online fee payment through Internet Banking/Debit/Credit Card etc. (as provided in the Online DDA recruitment application) will only be accepted.
- Fees paid by modes other than through online mode will not be accepted and the applications of such candidates will be rejected forthright and the payment made shall stand forfeited.

Q: Who is eligible for GATE exam?
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is the entrance exam for admission to postgraduate courses at IITs, NITs, IIITs in Engineering, Science and other allied subjects. The detailed eligibility criteria of GATE are given below:

- Candidates pursuing or in possession of any higher degree will be allowed to appear for GATE 2024.
- Candidates must note that there is no age limit to apply for GATE.
Q: Can I appear for GATE after doing Diploma in civil engineering?

Candidates can opt for at least three exam cities for GATE, while filling out the application form. The last date to submit the GATE application form is October 3, 2024 (with regular fees) and October 7, 2024 (with extended fees).
For the Interview candidates will require certain documents. In case a candidate does not appear for the interview or for verification of documents/identity along with original documents, then they will not be eligible for appointment for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical).
