It will also be available at the GOAPS 2024 website. Check below for the steps to download the GATE 2024 answer key: Visit the official website of GOAPS. - Login using the registered credentials. - Check and download the GATE answer key. - Take a printout for future reference. In 2024, IISc Bangalore will release the GATE 2024 answer key along with the result. Also, the authorities will allow the candidates to raise objections against the answer key. Read more about the GATE 2024 Answer Key: https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam-answer-key.

Q:   Can I challenge the GATE answer key?

A:

Yes, candidates can challenge the GATE answer key online by paying INR 500 per question. Candidates have to provide proper proof for their objections. IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 answer key and open the answer key challenge window in March 2025 (tentative). The answer key will be released in two formats- provisional and final. The GATE provisional answer key can be challenged if the responses are not satisfactory. Once all the objections are addressed and corrected, the concerned authorities will publish the final answer key, which cannot be challenged further. Check out more details about the GATE 2025 Answer Key: https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam-answer-key.

Q:   What is the meaning of "marks to all" in GATE official answer key?

A:

In the GATE official answer key, the “Marks to all” implies that everyone will get the marks for the specific question, regardless of whether they have attempted. This can also be used to calculate the overall score for the test taker. Further, as per some experts, generally after the exam, a panel of experts, which is different from the paper-setting team, will be formed. Then, they will review all the solutions to a particular paper. In some cases, a panel of experts may not agree with the solution or response given by the paper-setting team. Therefore, in such cases, there will be discrepancies between both teams, and so they will mark those questions as MTA, which means marks to all. However, the MTA will not affect the ranking of the candidates. Read More: https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam-answer-key.

Q:   When will the GATE 2025 answer key be released?

A:

IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 provisional answer key on its official website- gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The facility to raise objections in the answer key will be available online. The GATE answer key and response sheet can be used by the candidates to verify their answers and predict their scores. To calculate the scores, candidates need to follow the marking scheme. The GATE result for 2025 will be declared on March 19, 2025, by IIT Roorkee.  It is to be noted that candidates need to pay Rs 500 per question to challenge the GATE answer key.
