The NTA has issued the JEE Main final answer key 2023 for paper 1. Candidates can download the paper 1 (BE/BTech) final answer key from the official portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce JEE Main 2023 Results soon. The NTA JEE results can be checked on the official site at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The date and time of JEE Main result has not been shared by the NTA so far.  

The NTA has issued the JEE Main final answer key 2023 for paper 1. Candidates can download the paper 1 (BE/BTech) final answer key from the official portal. JEE Main 2023 registered an all-time high attendance of 95.8 per cent in the January session. The JEE Main 2023 January session got over on February 1, and the next session will be conducted in April.

The exam was conducted in 13 languages -- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. More than 8.6 lakh candidates registered for Paper 1 (BE/BTech), while over 46,000 registered for Paper 2 (Barch). Of the total of 8,60,058 aspirants for Paper 1 (BE/BTech programmes), 8,23,850 took the computer-based exam.  

Q:   What is JEE Main 2024 Result Date Session 1?

JEE Main result 2024 session 1 has been announced by the NTA. The JEE Main 2024 Result session 1 was released on February 12. NTA has activated the JEE Mains result 2024 link on the official website. Candidates need to login on the official website using their application number and date of birth to check their JEE Mains 2024 result. The score card will have details about the percentile score in all three subjects and the aggregate percentile. The All India Rank of JEE Main 2024 will be announced along with session 2 (April) result.

To check JEE Mains Result 2025, candidates need to use their login credentials. Candidates need to use their application number and date of birth to login on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in to check their JEE Main result. Candidates can also use their application number and password to check the result. NTA will declare the JEE Main result 2025 session 1 by February 12.

Q:   What circumstances could lead to the cancellation of my JEE Mains result?

A:
As per the information brochure released by the NTA the result of a candidate could be cancelled or withheld in the following cases: Indulge in unfair practices or use unfair means. Take JEE Main exam from a center other than the one allotted. Allow another person to write their exam.

The test for BE and BTech programmes was conducted over six days, starting from January 24, while Paper 2 was conducted on January 28 which registered 75.8 per cent attendance.

JEE Main result and scorecard are the same thing. The scorecard of JEE Main 2024 have details of candidates percentile score in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and aggregate percentile score. JEE Main 2024 Cutoff and All India Rank will also be announced in the result of session 2.

A:

NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 result by February 12. To check JEE Main result, candidates must follow the step-by-step process mentioned below: 

  • Visit the official website of NTA JEE Main result at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025.

  • On the latest news banner, click on ‘View JEE Main 2025 result’ or ‘View score card’.

  • On the next page, enter the application number, date of birth and security pin 

  • Next, click on 'Submit'.

  • on the next page, JEE Main Result 2025 along with scores will appear on the screen.

Q:   What is the tie-breaking or inter-se merit rule in JEE Main Result?

A:
If two or more candidate obtains same or equal percentile scores, NTA uses a criteria to resolve the tie. In Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech), candidates having higher score in Mathematics is placed high in merit. In case tie still exists, marks of Physics and Chemistry would be compared. Similarly, for Paper 2A, marks of Mathematics followed by General Aptitude and Architecture is checked. In Paper 2B, marks of Mathematics, General Aptitude and Planning is checked.

There is no minimum or maximum percentage required to appear in JEE Main. However, candidate need to have 75% marks in class 12 in addition to a valid JEE Main rank in order to get admission in NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs.
