JEE Mains 2019 Question Paper - The National Testing Agency (NTA) released JEE Main 2019 official answer keys on January 15. The official question papers with recorded responses were published on January 14 for all the exam dates – January 8 (BArch), 9,10,11 and 12 (BTech). The agency has also released JEE Main 2019 question papers for the April session with answer key.

To view JEE Main 2019 recorded responses, candidates will need to login on the JEE Main website with their Application number and Password/Date of Birth.Unlike last year, candidates will be able to view only their respective question paper and recorded responses. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), who conducted JEE Main till 2018, gave aspirants’ the option to view JEE Main question paper and answer keys for all sets. However, this year the case is different.

Given below are JEE Main 2019 question papers which will help candidates, who have appeared for the exam, calculate their expected JEE Main scores and rank. Besides this, prospective candidates will also get an idea about the pattern of questions, topic-wise weightage, type of questions asked in the January session of the exam to help them prepare better for the April exam.
Q: How many questions are asked in JEE Main exam?
The JEE Main exam will have a total of 75 questions from all three subjects. The exam will have 25 questions each from Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. Out of 25 questions, 20 will be multiple choice questions and 5 will be questions with numerical value answers. Students need to answer all 5 numerical value type questions. Also all 20 multiple choices questions are compulsory and no choice is provided in them. Students need to complete all the 75 questions in 3 hours.
Q: Do I need to attempt all the questions in JEE Main exam?
Yes, it is compulsory to attempt all the question in exam. Students need to attempt a total of 75 questions in the exam. Students are advised to attempt only those questions for which they can arrive at the answer/solutions. Questions for which the answer is not sure should be left as incorrect answer would lead to negative marking. Students must note that there are no minimum marks in JEE Main that students need to score. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.
Q: What type of questions are asked in JEE Main?
The JEE Main question paper will have questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as per the prescribed syllabus. Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B. For each question in Section B.A. Candidate has to enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.

It is advised that students should solve at least previous 10 year question papers of JEE Main.
