KEAM 2025 exam date is out. The exam will be held from April 24 to 28. CEE conducts the KEAM or Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) exam annually. The KEAM 2025 exam will be held at the state level and is the selection criteria for admission to UG engineering and pharmacy courses offered by the colleges in the state of Kerala. KEAM 2025: CEE has released the KEAM 2025 exam date and the exam is scheduled to be held from April 24 to April 28. The examinations will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. More details will be announced later with the KEAM 2025 notification and the prospectus on the KEAM 2025 official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Last year, KEAM was held in June, however, this year the exam will be held ahead of the expected timeline in April. Thus, the KEAM 2025 registration is also expected to start early.
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will conduct the KEAM 2025 exam in computer-based test mode. KEAM transformed from pen-and-paper-based to computer-based tests in 2024. Until 2023, the exam was held traditionally where candidates had to attempt the exams in OMR sheets. KEAM 2025 exam will be held across various centres in Kerala, Mumbai, Delhi and Dubai. To appear in KEAM 2025, candidates must pass the plus two examination. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can make to appear for KEAM. However, there is a minimum age limit of 17 years to appear for the KEAM exam. The eligibility for KEAM 2025 is further discussed in this article below. Candidates who satisfy the KEAM eligibility can register for KEAM. The candidates whose applications will be received by CEE will be issued the KEAM admit card to appear for the exam. About KEAM 2025
KEAM or Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) is the common admission process for various UG courses offered by the colleges approved by Central & State Regulatory Bodies, Universities, and Government. KEAM includes an entrance exam for UG engineering and pharmacy admission and centralised counselling for UG medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture courses. This means the BTech and BPharm aspirants have to sit for the KEAM entrance exam and the rest of the aspirants have to straightaway move to KEAM counselling (CAP) after registering for KEAM.

KEAM 2025 Eligiility Ctriteria
To be able to participate in KEAM 2025, candidates must fulfil certain eligibility criteria, check below:
Age: completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2025
Nationality Criteria: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for KEAM 2025. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders shall be treated at par with Indian citizens for admission. However, PIO/OCI candidates will not be eligible to claim any relaxation meant for reserved category candidates. Indian citizens will further be classified as Keralites and Non-Keralites.
Education qualification: Plus two (class 12) passed with applicable subject combination and minimum marks.

KEAM 2025 registration will start anytime soon. CEE will accept the KEAM application form 2025 in the online mode only on the official website. Note that the application form cannot be submitted offline.
It's important to note that although the KEAM exam is not held for admission to UG medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, architecture, and pharmacy courses, aspirants of such courses had to also complete the KEAM application form 2025 with the scores of the entrance exams applicable.
KEAM 2025 application process - Steps to apply for KEAM 2025
- Registration: In this step, candidates have to register online on the official website of CEE Kerala - cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates have to provide the basic details and create an application number and password to create the KEAM candidate login.
- Filling KEAM application form: Candidates have to provide their personal, educational, income, and reservation details in the application.
- Uploading of images: Next, they have to upload scanned images of photographs, signatures and documents with the given dimensions.
- Paying the application fee: candidates have to pay the applicable for KEAM 2025 in online mode using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking.
- Taking a printout of the application form: After payment, candidates have to take a printout of the application form. Candidates must also note that proforma (s) should also be printed along with the application. Print out the application form should not be sent to the CEE office.

Yes. KEAM engineering rank is prepared by giving an equal weightage of 50:50 to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination conducted by CEE for Engineering and the marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure.
KEAM 2025 Syllabus
The KEAM 2025 syllabus includes topics for plus two levels Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. The syllabus of KEAM remains the same every year. However, CEE has revised the KEAM syllabus in 2024. The revised syllabus is to be prepared by the candidates preparing for the KEAM 2025 exam. KEAM Previous Year Question Papers
KEAM had two papers until 2023. KEAM question paper 1 was Physics and Chemistry and the KEAM question paper was Maths. From 2024 onwards, the exam is being conducted with one single paper comprising three sections - Maths, Physics and Chemistry for engineering and two sections for pharmacy - Chemistry and Physics.

Q: What is the mode of KEAM exam?
KEAM exam has moved on to the online CBT mode from 2024 onwards. The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations has received approval from the government of Kerala to conduct KEAM in CBT mode. KEAM exam pattern has been changed and KEAM 2025 will be held in computer based test mode and there will be one paper. The KEAM entrance exam for engineering courses will consist of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75 questions, Physics having 45 questions and Chemistry having 30 questions. This means medical aspirant have to fill the KEAM application form and enter the NEET scores in the form. Admission in medical courses will be based on NEET scores.
