The OMPL recruitment notification will be available on the official website i.e. ompl.co.in. Candidates with BE/BTech/CA degrees can apply for this job. The selection process is based on the scores obtained by the candidates in GATE 2025 written test, Group discussion/Group Task, followed by a personal interview. Q:   Which institute will conduct GATE 2025?

A:

GATE 2025 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee. IIT Roorkee has released the exam dates also, GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. GATE is organised by 8 institutes including 7 IITs and IISc Bengaluru.

IIT Roorkee has released GATE 2025 exam dates on its official website. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1,2,15 and 16 February 2025. GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in multiple days and multiple shifts for all 30 papers.

  • Candidates should complete B.E/B.Tech in respective engineering disciplines from a recognized university
  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks for Un-reserved/OBC (NCL)/ EWS

Q:   Can I change the GATE 2025 exam centre?

A:

Yes, you can change the GATE exam city at the time of GATE 2025 application form correction facility. The GATE application form correction window will be activated on November 6, 2024. For more information, candidates can read here - https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam-centre

Q:   What is the fee for changing GATE 2025 exam centre?

A:

Candidates can modify their selected GATE exam city during the GATE application form correction period. The GATE form correction facility will be activated on November 6, 2024 at the GOAPS portal. Q:   What documents should I carry to the GATE examination centre?

A:

Candidates must carry the following documents to the GATE 2025 exam centre -

  • GATE 2025 admit card

  • Original Photo ID/identity proof, such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, etc.

Q:   How to calculate GATE 2025 Score?

A:

The exam authority will calculate the GATE score by considering the raw marks secured by candidates in the GATE 2025 result. The raw marks, or actual marks, will be allotted to the candidates after evaluating the answers. The GATE score for the multi-session exam will be calculated by converting the raw marks into the normalised marks for that particular subject. The raw marks will be used for calculating the GATE score based on the qualifying marks. The scorecard will be available to qualified candidates only. Candidates should keep the soft copy of the GATE scorecard safe for future use. To check the GATE 2025 result, candidates need their enrollment ID/email ID, and password. Q:   How do I change GATE 2025 exam city?

A:

Candidates can change the GATE exam city during the GATE application form correction at the GOAPS portal. The step-by-step process to change the GATE exam city is as follows -

  • Visit the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website
  • Login to your account with your Enrollment ID/Email Address, Password and Captcha
  • Click on Change Examination City
  • After making changes to the GATE 2025 examination city, you need to make a payment of Rs 500. The payment can be done through net banking/credit/debit card/UPI. 

The allotted GATE exam city address and details will be updated on the GATE hall ticket. Candidates can download the GATE admit card on January 2, 2025. 

  • A candidate fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall log on to the “Join Us” page of ompl.co.in.
  • Now click on the link “Recruitment of executives through GATE-2025
  • Then, he/she can click the link “Registration” and fill in the details in the respective fields.
  • The candidate will have to fill out the requisite information, such as the Candidate's Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Category, whether a Person with a Disability is a Departmental (OMPL) employee, Educational qualification, Email ID, Mobile Number, Communication Address, Declaration, Details of arrest/prosecution by any court, etc. 
  • After the above step, the candidate will be prompted to check the filled details and fill/make corrections if any, otherwise to SUBMIT his/her final data.
  • The next step will be to upload the photograph and signature as per the instructions given on the website in the link. (Check the guidelines)
  • The candidate has to scan and upload the relevant GATE- 2025 score card also. 
  • In case of failure to upload the relevant certificate/document, the candidature will not be accepted.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-Non creamy layer/PWD/EWS) must scan and upload the relevant certificate issued by the prescribed authority.
  • Finally, review all the filled information before clicking on the declaration, as no correction will be possible later.

OMPL Recruitment through GATE 2025 Scores: Selection Procedure

  • Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on GATE 2025 scores and then a further round of personal interviews.
  • For the personal interview round, candidates must carry all the original documents (degrees and mark sheets).
  • After qualifying the personal interview round, applicants must meet the required medical parameters provided by OMPL.
  • The final selection will be made based on a merit list prepared based on the GATE exam scores, and personal interview.
