RITES Recruitment Through GATE 2025

RITES Recruitment through GATE 2025—Rail India Technical and Economic Service, or RITES, will release the notification for the post of Graduate Engineers through GATE Scores between March and April 2025. The registration window for RITES recruitment will become functional from March 2025 (tentative). Candidates can visit the official website, https://rites.com/, to apply for the position.

RITES will offer a total of 40 vacancies. Candidates with a 4-year B.E/BTech or BSc degree are eligible to apply. Candidates applying for RITES must be aware of the GATE PSU Cut-Off to get a fair idea about the cut-off trends for selection in various PSU Companies. Q:   Which institute will conduct GATE 2025?

A:

GATE 2025 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee. IIT Roorkee has released the exam dates also, GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. GATE is organised by 8 institutes including 7 IITs and IISc Bengaluru. 

Q:   When will GATE 2025 exam be conducted?

IIT Roorkee has released GATE 2025 exam dates on its official website. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1,2,15 and 16 February 2025. GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in multiple days and multiple shifts for all 30 papers.

RITES Recruitment 2025: Remuneration Package and Service Bond

Remuneration Package

  • The candidate will be offered a pay scale of Rs 40,000 to Rs 1.40 lakh per month.
  • Only selected candidates will get the Dearness allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) at the time of training.
  • Each candidate needs to clear the training examination to retain a permanent position in RITES.
  • Candidate will join as a Assistant Manager (training position).
  • Candidate will serve the robation period for 2 years on the same position mentioned above as a trainee and on successful completion, he/she will permanently join at the position of Assistant Manager.

Service Bond

  • Candidate will need to sign a 3-year bond period with the organization after the successful completion of the training period (this will be post completion of your probation).
  • The Amount of Bond is Rs.3,50,000 and the amount will remain the same for all the categories.
  • In case you do not wish to complete your 3-year bond and wish to resign after training or within 3 years then the candidate needs to deposit the above-mentioned amount.

RITES Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

There are certain eligibility conditions that a candidate need to meet for the posts offered at RITES. Have a look:

Citizenship: Candidate applying for MDL must be an Indian Citizen.

Age Criteria

  • Candidates' minimum age must be 21 years
  • The maximum age limit is 31 years
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-servicemen - Relaxations as per Government norms and RITES Regular employees are eligible for a relaxation of 5 years in the Age Limit.

Date of birth details: Candidate's date of birth as declared in Class 10th or Matriculation certificate will be considered as final and no other document will be considered.

Academic Qualification:

  • Mnimum of 60% marks in the discipline
  • For OBC/SC/ST candidates - Mnimum of 50% marks in the discipline
  • The candidate must have completed a full-time bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines.

Q:   Can I change the GATE 2025 exam centre?

A:

Yes, you can change the GATE exam city at the time of GATE 2025 application form correction facility. The GATE application form correction window was activated on November 6, 2024. For more information, candidates can read here - https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam-centre

Q:   What is the fee for changing GATE 2025 exam centre?

A:

Candidates can modify their selected GATE exam city during the GATE application form correction period. The GATE form correction facility was activated on November 6, 2024 at the GOAPS portal. Q:   How to calculate GATE 2025 Score?

A:

The exam authority will calculate the GATE score by considering the raw marks secured by candidates in the GATE 2025 result. The raw marks, or actual marks, will be allotted to the candidates after evaluating the answers. The GATE score for the multi-session exam will be calculated by converting the raw marks into the normalised marks for that particular subject. The raw marks will be used for calculating the GATE score based on the qualifying marks. The scorecard will be available to qualified candidates only. Candidates should keep the soft copy of the GATE scorecard safe for future use. To check the GATE 2025 result, candidates need their enrollment ID/email ID, and password. Q:   What are the subject-wise exam dates for GATE 2025?

A:

The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has announced the GATE exam dates for 30 test papers. Each paper will be conducted on the dates scheduled by the organising institute. Q:   How many new exam cities have been added to the GATE 2025 exam centers?

A:

This year, 11 new cities have been included in the GATE exam centers. Candidates had the facility to opt for the exam center at the time of GATE registration. The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 in two sessions - Morning (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). Candidates appearing for the exam can find the allotted GATE exam center in the admit card. To download the GATE 2025 hall ticket, candidates must provide their enrollment ID and password. 

  • Unreserved (general): 60%
  • Reserved (SC/ST): 50 %
  • Person with disability: 50%

Note: Candidate need to qualify in GATE 2020 and rounds by RITES such as Group discussion and Personal Interview separately.

RITES Recruitment 2025: Application Process

Candidates can read the application process for RITES below. Have a look at the steps and procedure:

  1. Visit the official website of RITES i.e. https://rites.com/
  2. Click on the 'Apply Online' tab
  3. Register yourself with your valid email ID and mobile number
  4. After this step, the system will generate a unique Registration Number, which you must retain for future use. 
  5. Keep the registration number safe, as it will be required during Group Discussions and Personal Interview rounds.
  6. The application fee will be deposited through a bank challan, which needs to be deposited at the nearest Indian Bank branch.
  7. After the fee payment is made, the candidate must go to "Payment Details" and Enter the CBS Branch Code, Journal No., and Branch code.
  8. Upload the scanned copy of the challan on the official Website.
  9. The internal candidates need to send their resumes to higher authorities through their management hierarchy.

RITES Recruitment 2020: General Instructions

  1. Only GATE 2025 Score is eligible not of GATE 2024 or prior
  2. Final-year students are eligible for RITES placement.
  3. If the information provided by a student is found legitimate, the applicant's candidature is subjected to immediate termination.
  4. Caste Certificate should be in line with the details provided by RITES.
  5. The criteria adopted by AICTE shall be followed without any proof of norms adopted by the university/Institute to convert CGPA/OGPA/DGPA into a percentage.
  6. The candidate should provide a valid and functional E-Mail ID throughout the examination process for a smooth conversation, as all notifications will be sent via email.
  7. Candidates working with Government, Non-Government, PSU, or autonomous bodies must provide the NOC (No Objection Certificate) at the time of joining.
  8. Candidates can be placed anywhere in India.
  9. If a candidate is found doing any kind of illegal or forgery activities the candidature is subjected to the termination.
