Scoring 300+ marks in JEE Main is difficult. So the first thing you need to do is believe in yourself, which can help you crack the exam. For getting more than 300 in JEE Main, you need to work very hard.
Complete the JEE Main syllabus by the end of the month and make a checklist to solve at least 150+ questions every day. Clear all of your doubts by asking your teacher. And the main thing is to solve as many test papers as possible which you can purchase from various sources and solve the past JEE Main papers.
Explore colleges based on JEE Main
- If you do some calculation then there are 30 questions in each sections (Maths, Chemistry and Physics). And, a maximum of 120 marks in each sections. So that there will be total marks of 360.
Here I would like to suggest some good books, which helps you to get good marks.
Chemistry: if we talk about Chemistry then it is known as one of the easiest subject among the three, you can easily score 100+ in this Chemistry, and it decides your clearance in the exam. Refer NCERT Books for Chemistry. Try to read all of your notes very carefully and at the same time make sure that you have to learn NCERT book.
Important topics are:
- Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure
- Chemical Thermodynamics
- Electrochemistry
- Inorganic Chemistry
- Organic Chemistry
- Polymers and Bio Molecules
- Environmental Chemistry
- Chemistry in Everyday Life
Maths: It is one of the other scoring subjects where you can easily score 100+ with some better preparation. Math decides how good rank you will get in-crowd. Now Book like NCERT, RD Sharma will help you math section try to solve as many questions as you can solve. Focus on Calculus and Trigonometry part in NCERT. Mathematics is all about practice so do practice Trigonometry and Algebra as it is simple and mostly requires knowing the formula and some basic mathematics. In vector algebra, most of the question pattern is as same as last year’s paper so that solve all the questions of last year’s paper.
Important topics are:
- Complex Number, Quadratic Equations
- Coordinate Geometry (straight line, circle and conic section)
- Calculus
- 3-D and vector
- Binomial theorem, Sequences, and Series
Physics: When we talk about this subject then it decides if you are at the top rankings. It becomes quite tricky when it comes to physics as maximum questions asked are from the vast course that creates difficulty for the students to cover. So that for getting good marks in physics you need to refine the topics and focus on your notes. In last month, I do not suggest reading books but you can prefer NCERT book. In addition, most of the time try to solve last year’s paper as can as possible; this is the only way for rising good marks in physics. Moreover, if you get any doubt then ask your teacher immediately. However, if you have time left after solving previous year’s paper, you can solve Resnick, Krotov etc.
The major questions come from following topics:
- Kinematics
- Heat and Thermodynamics
- Optics
- Electrostatics
- Modern Physics
Here are a few tips for your exam preparation:
- Do not waste your time. You need to do work very hard and you need to study at least eight hours a day
- Time management is very much important during the exam. If you are stuck in any question, just leave and solve another question.
- First, complete that subject in which you are very good or excellent. It will help you to concentrate on other subjects and give you positive energy.
- You have to make sure that whatever you are studying that should be understood by you.
- Be calm and give your best.
