For those, who aren't willing to spend another year, there are many good universities in our country who offer graduate courses in technical, architecture and medical fields through their own separate as well as private entrances.
After the results of Kerela Engineering Architecture and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM), we are left with two scenarios. If the results are good, we are heading towards counselling session to select our colleges. But, if results are not up to your expectation, then the first thing that comes to your mind is, whether taking a drop year will be better for us?
Explore popular B.Tech colleges for you
In this article, I will discuss the after results opportunities for the students who are considering for a drop year and also, for those, who are willing to opt a college with low scores.
Take a Drop Year
Drop year is a tough year as well as an opportunity to start again. Whether you can bear all the expense for one year? Whether you can face all the pressure and dilemma of giving one year for preparations? Whether you can bring the score this time? Focus on such points before taking a drop year. If you feel you can work hard, you can opt for a drop year. Then you should focus on JEE advance as well as JEE Mains and work hard for elite colleges.
Opt for Other Colleges
For those, who aren't willing to spend another year, there are many good universities in our country who offer graduate courses in technical, architecture and medical fields through their own separate as well as private entrances. Below is the list of such renowned universities of India where one can consider taking admissions:

Upcoming Counselling Session
As KEAM is usually held in April exams after JEE Mains, you have sufficient time enrolling in these universities and colleges before counselling session. Sitting for counselling is necessary. Since the top college through that counselling may not be available for you, try opting for top branches in a lower-ranking college. Your stream will matter the most after you graduate. Wait till three rounds of counselling but do participate in that. You may try your luck. For state universities, there is also a 'home state quota' where your rank will be higher than an outsider with the same marks.
