 GCET Pharmacy 2021 or the GCET Pharmacy entrance exam will be held on June 15 and 16, 2021, and the conducting body will announce the result on June 22, 2021. GCET for both the programmes i.e. Engineering and Pharmacy as many as 2,954 at 16 centres across Goa State. The average marks scored by the candidates went up this year to 22.51 mark in Physics, 21.97 the previous year. In Chemistry, the average score was 27.47 this year as against 24.72 in 2019. The result was published in the form of a scorecard list and has all the details of the candidates' overall performance in the GCET pharmacy 2021 exam.

How to Check GCET Pharmacy 2021 Result?

To check the results, candidates have to follow several steps given below:

  • Applicants have to visit the GCET official website of GCET, https://dte.goa.gov.in/
  • In the latest notification section at the homepage, click on the link ‘GCET 2021 Result’
  • Applicants will be redirected to the PDF page and have to search for their respective Roll number by pressing CTRL+F

For Individual Result

  • Candidates have to provide their details such as the Roll Number and Date of Birth to access their GCET Pharmacy 2021 result.
  • Result in a downloadable PDF format will appear on the screen

GCET Pharmacy 2021 Merit List

GCET Pharmacy 2021 result will be issued in the form of a merit list on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the state-level examination. The result will be prepared and declared by the DTE Goa. To access the result cum merit list candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Candidates have to provide their roll number and date of birth by visiting the official website of GCET, https://dte.goa.gov.in/  to check their qualifying status in the merit list
  • The conducting body, DTE Goa, will upload the ranks of the qualifying candidates based on the merit list
  • The result will be in the form of a merit list and will consist of details like the Candidate’s Name, Roll Number, Qualifying Status, Overall Score, Sectional Score and Merit Rank.
  • Candidates have to bring the print out copy of the merit list on the day of counselling for the document verification process

Tie-Breaking Guidelines for GCET Pharmacy 2021 Result

The tie situation arises when two or more candidates score the same marks then the following is resolved by tie-breaking. Below are the GCET 2021 tie-breaking guidelines:

  • Applicant having higher score in Chemistry will be given preference
  • If candidates have secured equal marks in Chemistry, then the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be given preference
  • If the tie still exists, candidate having higher marks in aggregate in both subjects, physics and chemistry will be given the preference
  • If in case the tie still exists the candidates with higher marks in Class 12 biology/mathematics will get the edge over other candidates
  • If candidates have scored equal marks in both the subjects, then the elder candidate (in age) will be given preference

Q: When will the GCET 2021 results get declared?

A: The exam conducting body i.e. DTE Goa, will announce the GCET Pharmacy 2021 result on June 22. GCET result is available on the official website of DTE Goa in a downloadable format. Candidate can download pdf file of their individual results. 

Q: How many students appeared for GCET 2020?

A: As many as 2,954 candidates appeared this year for GCET across 16 centres in Goa State.

A: GCET Pharmacy 2021 result for individual candidate have details like candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, parent’s name, category and marks of Physics and Chemistry and total marks obtained. 

Q: How can I check the result for DCET 2021 entrance exam?

A: Candidate can visit Goa CET official website i.e. https://dte.goa.gov.in/. Login to the website with the help of the GCET enrollment number. Click on the submit button and wait for the result to appear. The result will appear in pdf form. The candidate can either download the result or take a printout of it. 

Q: Can a class 12 dropout candidate appear for GCET 2021 exam?

A: No, a candidate must have passed 12th standard from Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination.
