The GCET 2021 cutoff will be determined on various factors like the number of seats available, difficulty level, merit list, the number of applicants and previous year cutoff trends. Colleges in Goa have a certain limit in terms of seats. Therefore, colleges use cutoff lists to shortlist the candidates. The students who score well in the GCET exam will stand a chance to avail admissions to the BTech programmes offered by colleges in Goa for the academic year 2021-22. GCET Cut off list is typically released on the official website in the month of June. DTE, Goa conducts GCET 2021 and is the competent authority that decides GCET cutoff marks.

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa will determine the minimum scores obtained by the candidates to be considered for admission to various undergraduate engineering courses at the universities and colleges in Goa.
