GCET Pharmacy 2020 counselling will be conducted by the DTE Goa. It is tentatively scheduled to be held in the second week of July. Candidates who will qualify for the GCET Pharmacy 2020 entrance exam will be invited to participate in the counselling. Procedure for GCET Pharmacy 2020 Counselling
The GCET pharmacy counselling involves a various step which the candidates have to follow sequentially. Below are the steps candidates have to follow to participate in the GCET pharmacy 2020 counselling:
Step 1 – Counselling Form Filling:
The counselling form will be available on the official website of DTE Goa and candidates have to download the same. The candidates will be asked to fill in some details such as the candidate’s name, registration number, the category under which the admission is sought, scores secured in GCET 2020, gender and other mandatory information in the counselling form. The form has to be filled using a pen in the candidate’s own handwriting.
Step 2 – Submission of Counselling Form:
As the counselling form is filled in with a pen and is in hard copy form, candidates have to submit the GCET counselling form physically at the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim or Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, Goa. The candidate after submitting the counselling successfully will receive an acknowledgement receipt as proof of submission of the counselling form. The receipt has to be kept safe for future reference.
Step 3 – Reporting:
DTE Goa will release the merit list and the shortlisted candidates will be invited for the GCET pharmacy 2020 counselling. All the shortlisted candidates will have to report to the allotted counselling venue along with the acknowledgement receipt, original documents, and fees to block the admission.
Step 4 – Seat Allotment:
The DTE Goa officials will verify all the documents and keep the photocopies of the same after getting it attested from the candidate itself. After the completion of verification of documents and review of eligibility criteria match-up, candidates will be allotted the seats on the basis of their merit, course preference and availability of seats. Later, the DTE Goa will release a list of allotted seats which will have details such as allotted institute, course/branch, category and marks secured.
Step 5 – Reporting at the Allotted Institute:
After the verification and release of the final list of allotted seats, candidates have to report to the allotted institute in person along with the allotment letter issued by the DTE Goa and other required documents and the prescribed admission fee.
