A:
No, Diploma students are not eligible to appear directly for JEE Advanced. The Joint Entrance Examination JEE Advanced is the second stage of the two-part entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). To be eligible for JEE Advanced. Candidates must fulfill the following criteria: 1. Qualification: Candidates must have appeared for JEE Main and obtained a rank within the specified cutoff. JEE Advanced 2025 Application Form for Services of Scribe

The PwD candidates who are visually impaired OR dyslexic (severe) OR have a disability in the upper limbs OR have lost fingers/hands thereby preventing them from properly operating the Computer Based Test platform may avail the services of a scribe.

PwD candidates who desire to avail the services of a scribe need to opt for this during the online registration of JEE Advanced 2025.

Note that: The scribe will help the candidate only in reading the questions and/or keying in the answers as per the directions of the candidate. A scribe will neither explain the questions nor suggest any solutions.

How to avail a scribe: To avail the services of a scribe, the candidate should request the Chairperson, JEE (Advanced) 2025, of the nearest Zonal Coordinating IIT in the prescribed format (FORM-SCRIBE). The requisition, along with a copy of the PwD certificate (FORM-PwD [II/III/IV, whichever is applicable]) OR a copy of the certificates of Dyslexic Candidate (FORM- DYSLEXIC 1 and DYSLEXIC 2), whichever is applicable, must be uploaded at the time of online registration for JEE (Advanced) 2025.

Common Problems in JEE Advanced Registration and Solution

Some common issues that may arise while completing the JEE Advanced 2025 application are:

  • Problems with uploading documents and scanned copies of photographs/signatures. This often happens when the images being uploaded do not adhere to the standards. To fix this issue, simply resize the images according to the specifications using one of the many online tools available.
  • Candidates may also experience difficulties paying the application fee due to slow internet speed or bank server problems. In such cases, candidates should try the payment process again later. If the payment status still shows "not paid" after 24 hours, candidates will have to pay the fee again, and the previously paid amount will be credited back to their bank accounts.
  • There can also be issues with site loading and timeout errors. To avoid timeout or file not found errors, make sure to have a stable internet connection and open the application form page in the recent version of Mozilla Firefox/Internet Explorer. In case of a timeout error, clear the browser's cookies and history, then retry during off-peak hours.
