JEE Advanced 2025 Answer Key: IIT Kanpur will release the JEE Advanced 2025 answer keys a few days after the exam. A few days before the JEE Advanced answer key 2025 is released, the JEE Advanced 2025 response sheet will also be available. The official JEE Advanced answer key, response sheet and JEE Advanced 2025 question papers will be all uploaded at jeeadv.ac.in. The answer key and response sheet can be accessed under the respective logins of the candidates and the question papers can be downloaded as PDFs from the website. The JEE Advanced answer key will also be open for challenges. The answer key challenge window will open for a limited period. To check scores using the JEE Advanced answer key, candidates have to follow the marking scheme of the exam. The marking scheme of the exam is displayed on the JEE Advanced online question paper. The broad types of questions that are asked in JEE Advanced are: Single correct, Multiple correct, Numerical type, Paragraph type, Matrix match type, Question stem (Paragraph type question with answer in numerical form). There are questions of 1 mark, 2 marks, 3 marks and 4 marks. The following procedures follows in preparation of JEE Advanced result. 1. Marks obtained by the candidates in Chemistry Physics and Mathematics in Paper 1 and Paper 2 are added individually. It signifies that the marks secured by the candidates in Physics in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 are added to determine the total marks of the subject. The same procedure is carried forward in Mathematics and Chemistry. 2. No. Candidates cannot challenge the final JEE Advanced answer key. The final answer key is released after all challenges against the provisional key are considered and the changes, if any, are made. Based on the answer of the JEE Advanced final answer key the result of the exam is prepared. Therefore the final answer key cannot be challenged. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key of the exam. Q:   What is the JEE Advanced exam pattern?

A:
The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced exam pattern varies each year. There are 2 papers in the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced exam. Paper 1 and Paper 2 of Joint Entrance Examination Advanced will comprise three separate sections wherein questions will be asked from Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. There will be negative markings for answering any question incorrectly in the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced exam. Medium of the Examination: English and Hindi The main exam will be conducted online through a CBT (computer-based mode). Joint Entrance Examination Advanced consists of 2 papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2), and students have to appear for both papers. The question paper consists of three parts: Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will have 3 parts, that are: Part 1: Physics Part 2: Chemistry Part 3: Maths Each part will have 3 sections in both papers 1 and 2: Section 1: This section contains 8 questions. The answer to each question is a Numerical Value. For each question, enter the correct numerical value of the answer using the mouse and the onscreen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. If the numerical value has more than two decimal places, truncate or round off the value to 2 decimal places. Answers to each question will be evaluated according to the following marking scheme: Full Marks: 3 Marks only if the correct numerical value is entered Zero Marks: 0 In all other cases Section 2: This section contains six questions. Each question has 4 options. One and more than one of these four options is the correct answer. For each question, choose the options corresponding to all the correct answer The answer to each question will be evaluated according to the following marking scheme Full Marks: 4 marks for every correct answer. Q:   When will the result of JEE Advanced be out?

JEE Advanced 2025 result is expeted to be out in June 2025. Candidates can check and download the JEE Advanced 2025 scorecard under their respective login on jeeadv. ac. in. To Download JEE Advanced 2025 scorecard, candidates have to use 7-digit roll number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, and the 10-digit phone number that they used while registering for JEE (Advanced). Also, category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the JEE Advanced 2025 online portal after the results are declared. Text messages will also be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile numbers. Only those candidates who will secure minimum marks in JEE Advanced 2025, as prescribed by the IITs will be included in the AIR list for JoSAA counselling and IIT admissions. Allotment of seats will be solely based on the category-wise All India Rank in the JEE Advanced 2025.

Q:   When will JEE Advanced counselling take place?

A:

JEE Advanced counselling is called JoSAA. JoSAA 2025 will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority and the dates will be announced for the counselling after the JEE Advanced result. There will be 5 rounds of seat allotment. Candidates who are allotted seats in each round of JoSAA 2025 Counselling will be required to choose the options from Freeze, Float or Slide. Candidates who opt Freeze option will be required to complete reporting process between the prescribed deadline. The candidates who are not allotted seats during JoSAA 2025 seat allotment rounds still get a chance to get enrolled in NIT+ system through CSAB counselling 2025. Eligible candidates had to apply for the JoSAA counselling 2025 online on the official website at josaa. nic. in. During the counselling of JoSAA, two rounds of mock allotment are held to help candidates make correct choices for the real allotment rounds. The JoSAA 2025 seat allotment result is released in online mode after every round. Candidates are allotted seats according to their merit, preferences and availability of seats. The admission process for admissions in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) is managed by The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Over 50,000 undergraduate engineering seats (B.Tech/BE) will be open for eligible candidates.

The JEE Advanced 2024 cutoff of the common rank list is 30.34%; 27.30% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 15.17% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 7.58% for Preparatory course rank lists. Last year the cutoff for inclusion in the CRL was 23.89%; 21.50% for GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL rank list; 11.95% for SC, ST and PWD rank list across categories; and 5.98% for the preparatory course rank lists.

All those candidates who have score above the cutoff marks in their respective category can register for JoSAA counselling for participating in the IIT seat allotment process. Note that qualifying the JEE Advaced cutoff will not guarantee seat in the IITs. various factos are there in play while alloting seats in the IITs. These factors include demand of a course and IIT, number of seats on offer, reservation criteria etc.

If you fail in JEE Advanced, you can still seek admission to other colleges based on your JEE Main score from the same year. Many engineering colleges, including NITs, IIITs, and private institutions, accept JEE Main scores for admission.
