JEE Advanced 2025 Dates: IIT Kanpur has declared JEE Advanced 2025 exam date. JEE Advanced 2025 exam date is May 18. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and the paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. IIT Kanpur will release the JEE Advanced 2025 schedule for registration and complete details with the JEE Advanced 2025 information brochure soon. JEE Advanced 2025 application form is expected to be out in April 2025. The information brochure and the schedule will be available on the official website and will outline the important dates for JEE Advanced 2025 like registration dates, dates for admit card release, answer key dates, response sheet dates, dates for answer key challenge and result declaration dates.

JEE Advanced is a national-level exam that serves as the second level of qualification for candidates who want to be a part of the IIT alumni. Candidates need to qualify JEE Main to sit for JEE Advanced. Approximately, the top 2.5 lahks JEE Main candidates are allowed to take this exam every year. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be held ion May 18. JEE Advanced 2025 will be conducted by IIT Kanpur. JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates who achieve rank among the top 2.5 lakh candidates could apply for JEE Advanced exam. Candidates can appear in JEE Advanced two consecutive times. JEE Advanced 2025 will be held in CBT mode and there will be 2 papers. Each paper will have 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The marking schemes change each year. Negative marks may be awarded for incorrect answers to some of the questions. JEE Advanced 2025 exam date is May 18. JEE Advanced is a national-level engineering entrance test that is held in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam consists of two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2, which are both mandatory and have a duration of three hours each. Q:   Will there be an opportunity to correct details in JEE Advanced application form after submission of the form?

There are no provisions for correction in details filled in the online JEE Advanced 2025 form. Once the application form is submitted and the application fee is paid, the forms cannot be accessed for editing or any sort of correction. Therefore candidates must carefully read, fill and submit the JEE Advanced application form 2025. Check the events after JEE advanced 2025 exam is over:

JEE Advanced 2025 answer keys: JEE Advanced 2025 Answer Key (Provisional) is released by the exam conducting authority on the official website. Other than the official JEE Advanced 2025 answer key, various coaching institutes also release the answer key within one or two days after the conclusion of the exam. JEE Advanced 2025 official question papers are also made available by the exam conducting authority on the official website. To make it easier for students to calculate their probable score, the exam conducting authority will also release their response sheets, within one or two days after the exam.

JEE Advanced result 2025: JEE Advanced 2025 result is announced on the official website. To check their results, aspirants will need to enter their registration number and password. A direct link will also be provided below for candidates to check the JEE Advanced result. JEE Advanced 2025 result will include the qualifying status, total and subject-wise scores, and All India Rank (AIR) of candidates. All students must note that the JEE Advanced rank will be as per their total score in papers 1 and 2. The exam conducting authority will also send a message on the registered mobile number of every test taker regarding the declaration of the result. All candidates must note that they will not receive any hard copies of their rank cards. It can be downloaded from the official website only.

Q:   Will IIT seats increase in 2025?

A:

Probabaly, as the seats increase every year. Last year, there has been a notable surge in the number of available seats for BTech courses at IITs. In 2024, the total number of seats available were 17,740. In 2023, the number of Btech seats in IITs were 17,385. The number of seats to be available in 2025 will be notified with the JoSAA counselling details.

Q:   When will the result of JEE Advanced be out?

JEE Advanced 2025 result is expeted to be out in June 2025. Candidates can check and download the JEE Advanced 2025 scorecard under their respective login on jeeadv. ac. in. To Download JEE Advanced 2025 scorecard, candidates have to use 7-digit roll number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, and the 10-digit phone number that they used while registering for JEE (Advanced). Also, category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the JEE Advanced 2025 online portal after the results are declared. Text messages will also be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile numbers. Only those candidates who will secure minimum marks in JEE Advanced 2025, as prescribed by the IITs will be included in the AIR list for JoSAA counselling and IIT admissions. Allotment of seats will be solely based on the category-wise All India Rank in the JEE Advanced 2025.

JEE Advanced counselling is called JoSAA. The candidates who qualify JEE Advanced have to register for JoSAA counselling with their JEE Advanced details. If you have appeared for JEE Mains you can register for JoSAA counselling for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs and if you have appeared for JEE Advanced, then you can apply for JoSAA counselling of IITs provided you fulfil the JEE Mains and advanced criteria respectively. Thereafter, only you have to follow the steps written in JEE Advanced counselling brochure. Now, you can fill in the choice for JoSAA Seat allocation. Just remember one thing your credential should be same as per JEE Advanced admit card.

Q:   When will JEE Advanced counselling take place?

JEE Advanced counselling is called JoSAA. JoSAA 2025 will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority and the dates will be announced for the counselling after the JEE Advanced result. There will be 5 rounds of seat allotment. Candidates who are allotted seats in each round of JoSAA 2025 Counselling will be required to choose the options from Freeze, Float or Slide. Candidates who opt Freeze option will be required to complete reporting process between the prescribed deadline. The candidates who are not allotted seats during JoSAA 2025 seat allotment rounds still get a chance to get enrolled in NIT+ system through CSAB counselling 2025. Eligible candidates had to apply for the JoSAA counselling 2025 online on the official website at josaa. nic. in. During the counselling of JoSAA, two rounds of mock allotment are held to help candidates make correct choices for the real allotment rounds. The JoSAA 2025 seat allotment result is released in online mode after every round. Candidates are allotted seats according to their merit, preferences and availability of seats. The admission process for admissions in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) is managed by The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Over 50,000 undergraduate engineering seats (B.Tech/BE) will be open for eligible candidates.

If you fail in JEE Advanced, you can still seek admission to other colleges based on your JEE Main score from the same year. Many engineering colleges, including NITs, IIITs, and private institutions, accept JEE Main scores for admission.
