Q:   Is there any negative marking for unattempted questions in JEXPO?

A:

According to the Information Brochure, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. In total, 100 questions will be asked in the JEXPO examination for 100 marks, which is one mark for each correct answer. The duration of the JEXPO examination is two hours. If a candidate provides more than one answer to any question, it will be treated as a correct response or a wrong answer. JEXPO is conducted for the admission of candidates to Diploma Courses in Engineering & Technology.

Q:   How many questions are asked in JEXPO exam?

A:

JEXPO comprises 100 multiple choice questions. Each question carry one mark. The duration of the examination is two hours or 120 minutes. The exam starts at 10 am in the morning and conclude at 12 noon.  In the OMR Answer Sheet, appropriate circles are to be ‘completely filled’ by using BLACK / BLUE BALL-POINT pen. More than one answer against any question will be treated as incorrect response / wrong answer. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

No, it is not at all mandatory to attempt all the questions of the JEXPO entrance examination. All the questions will be asked in Multiple Choice Question format in JEXPO exam. In total 100 questions are asked and each carry one mark. There is no negative marking in the JEXPO examination. Candidates need to compete the exam in two hours.
