Where can I check the MET exam centres?

The official list of the MET exam cities will be released online at manipal.edu by the authorities. While filling out the MET application form, the candidates will be able to select their choice of exam cities in the order of preference. The authorities will allot the MET exam centres as per the preferred cities and seat availability. However, there are chances that the candidates might not be allotted their first choice due to seat availability issues. Therefore, the candidates are advised to fill out the order of preferences carefully.

How can I check my allotted MET exam centre details?

Candidates will be able to check the details regarding their allotted MET exam centre through the admit card. Information regarding the allotted centre address, exam date, timings and more will be made available on the MET admit card. Candidates will be advised to check the details regarding their allotted exam centre carefully and to visit the venue once before the examination so that they are familiar with the area. The MET admit card has to be produced at the exam centre.

How many MET exam cities can I choose during the application process?

During the application process, the candidates will be able to choose three options from the list of the available MET exam cities. It is to be noted that the selection of exam cities will have to be done carefully since the allotment of exam centres will depend on it. The authorities will allot the MET exam centres as per the preferences of the candidates and seat availability. In case the first preference is not available, the candidates will be allotted in the exam centres present in their next preference.

How can I select my preferred MET exam centres?

Candidates will be able to select their preferred MET exam cities while filling out the application form. The cities for the entrance examination have to be selected in the order of preference and submitted. During the slot booking, the candidates will be able to select their choice of exam centres from the city that they have preferred. The slots available in the centre have to be chosen and submitted before the final date. The details regarding the allotted MET exam centre, date and time will be available on the admit card.

I want to change my MET exam city preference. Can I change it after downloading the MET hall ticket?

No. The candidates will not be allowed to change/edit their selected MET exam city preferences after it is submitted. Since the authorities will not entertain any requests for change of allotted MET exam centres, the candidates are advised to be careful while making their choices during the registration and slot booking process. MET exam centres will be allotted as per the candidate's preferences and seat availability. There may be chances that the candidates will not be allotted centres in their preferred exam city due to seat availability issues.

Which other documents along with the MET admit card have to be presented at the centre?

Candidates are required to present their MET admit card while reporting to their allotted exam centre. Along with the MET hall ticket, the candidates will also to present their identity proof. Any one of the following documents can be presented at the centre as identity proof - Passport/Voter ID/PAN Card/Driving License/School ID or any Government approved identity proof. A print out of the filled MET application form also has to be taken to the centre. If the candidates are not able to present their admit card and supporting documents, then they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

My MET exam centre has been changed. What should I do?

There may be situations where the authorities will be required to change the allotted MET exam centres. This happens due to various factors such as unavailability of centre, inadequate number of candidates and more. In such situations, the candidates are alloted exam centres in the next preferred city. No requests for change of centres will be accepted by the authorities. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while selecting their preferences for the examination.

Can I deposit my personal belongings to the MET exam centre?

Candidates are advised to leave their personal belongings with their accompanying parents/guardians to the MET exam centre. However, if the candidate is alone, they can request the authorities at the exam centre to keep their belongings during the entrance examination. But the authorities will not be held responsible for any loss of belongings. Therefore, the candidates are advised to not bring any expensive belongings to the MET exam centres.

Will the exam day guidelines be available in the MET admit card?

Yes. The candidates will be able to check the exam day guidelines in the MET admit card. Before reporting to the exam centre, the candidates are advised to check the MET exam day guidelines. Through the guidelines, the candidates will be able to know the do's and dont's of the examination. All candidates are advised to reach the exam centre atleast an hour before the examination starts to complete the security checks on time. No electronic devices will be allowed inside the MET exam centre.

What are the steps to download the MET hall ticket?

Registered candidates will be able to access the MET hall ticket online at manipal.edu. Firstly, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and OTBS to complete the MET slot booking process. The OTBS password will be sent to the candidates through email. After selecting their preferred exam dates and slots, the candidates will have to confirm and submit them. MET admit card will be generated and be available for download after the slots are booked.

Which details are available in the MET admit card?

Candidates will be able to check important personal and examination-related details on the MET admit card. Some of the important details present in the MET admit card are - candidate's name, application form number, selected course, examination date, time, venue address, MET hall ticket number, photograph, signature, etc. Before downloading the MET admit card, the candidates are advised to check the details on it. If there are any mistakes, then the candidates are advised to contact the authorities immediately.

Manipal University will release the MET 2020 exam centres. The exam is expected to be conducted at 85 exam cities across India. Candidates have to choose three preferences from the list of MET 2020 exam centres in the filled in application form. MET 2020 exam centres are the venue where the conducting authority will conducte the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) for admission to the undergraduate courses offered by Manipal Academy of Higher Education(MAHE). The authority will allocate the MET 2020 exam centres on the basis of first come first serve basis and preferences entered by the candidates. All applicants can book their entrance test slots in the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) based on the availability of seats, from the list of cities provided.
