ICSI prescribes CSEET 2025 syllabus. The syllabus is designed to test the knowledge of the candidates pertaining to critical aspects of Business Communication and essentials of English Grammar. The syllabus of CSEET 2025 is divided into four papers viz., Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic & Business Environment, Current Affairs, Presentation & Communication Skills. CSEET January 2025 is scheduled to be held on January 11 in emote proctored mode. Candidates appearing for CSEET exam must check the exam syllabus.

Q:   How many questions are asked in CSEET exam?

A:
ICSI conducts the CSEET exam. The question paper is divided across four sections viz, Business Communication, Current Affairs Economics and Business Environment and Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. The number of questions in each section is as follows: 1. Business Communication: This section includes 35 questions. The total number of marks for this section is 50. 2. Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning: This section is divided into two parts. Part A- Legal Aptitude is of 25 marks and Part B- Logical reasoning is also of 25 marks. The total number of questions included in this section is 35 3. Economics and Business Environment. This section is divided into two parts. Each part is of 25 marks. The total number of question in this section are 35 questions. 4. Current Affairs Presentation and Communication Skills: The number of questions asked from Current Affairs is 15, whereas Presentation & Communication skills includes 20 questions. Each section typically contains multiple choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted in remote proctored mode.

Q:   What is CSEET pass percentage?

A:

CS Executive Entrance Test CSEET pass percentage refers the percentage of students who have cleared the CSEET exam for the particular session. ICSI releases the CSEET pass percentage for each session soon after the declaration of results. Earlier authorities released the CSEET July 2024 pass percentage soon after the declaration of results. The pass percentage for CSEET 2024 July session is 66.11%.

Q:   What is the difference between CSEET old and new syllabus?

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India introduced the revised syllabus for CSEET under 2022. Here are the key difference between the old and new syllabus of CSEET: 1. Subjects: The number of subjects has been increased in CSEET. The new subject included in CSEET syllabus is Quantitative Aptitude in part 4. 2. Elimination of Viva Voce: Viva Voce section will now stand cancelled from November 2023 session examination onwards. Earlier the CSEET included of Presentation and Viva Voce section. 3. Entry route: The new syllabus has made the exclusive mode of entry through CSEET to CS course. The marks are distributed equally among each section of CSEET. Q:   When will the CSEET registration under new syllabus 2022 commence?

A:

CSEET registrations under the new syllabus commenced on July 11, 2023. ICSI released the revised CSEET syllabus (under 2022). Candidates registering for the CSEET exam will have to prepare as per the CSEET new syllabus. The first examination under CSEET new syllabus 2022 was conducted in November 2023. The last examination under the old syllabus was conducted in July 2023. As per the revised CSEET syllabus, the viva voce portion will be removed. The question paper will be divided across four sections viz. , 1. Business Communication 2. Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning 3. Economic and Business Environment 4. Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude.
