The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2024 for the December session on the official website. NTA will also conduct the CSIR NET December 2024 exam in online mode, like the June session. CSIR NET Exam Day Instructions 2024
Candidates need to follow the given CSIR NET Exam Day Guidelines at the exam centres:
- Candidates should reach the CSIR NET Exam Centre at the time indicated against reporting time in their CSIR UGC NET admit card 2024
- No candidate will be allowed to enter after the gate closing time
- No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination
- Upon completion of the examination, candidates are advised to wait for instructions from Invigilator. The candidates will be allowed to move out only one at a time
- The CSIR NET admit card is provisional, subject to satisfying the CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria 2024 as given in the Information Bulletin
- Candidates are advised to verify the location of the exam centre, a day in advance so that they do not face any problems on the day of the exam
- If religion/ customs require you to wear specific attire, then please visit the exam centre a little early for thorough checking and frisking
- No candidate would be allowed to enter the centre without admit card, self-declaration undertaking, valid ID proof, and proper frisking
- Before reaching the centre, candidates must enter the required details in the Self Declaration (Undertaking) in legible handwriting, paste their photograph and put a thumb impression at the appropriate place on the admit card
- PwBD candidates (with a disability of 40% and more) will be allowed an extra time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination
- PwBD candidates must bring a PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming relaxation under the PwBD category. The Scribe provided by the NTA must also carry his/ her own Self Declaration (Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, passport-size photograph, valid government identity, and self-declaration (Undertaking)
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any personal belongings, electronic devices, or mobile phones to the examination centres
- Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are not allowed
Things Allowed at CSIR NET Exam Centre 2024
Candidates will be allowed to carry the following items to the CSIR NET examination centres:
- Personal transparent water bottle,
- Personal hand sanitiser (50 ml)
- A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
- CSIR NET admit card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website
- Additional passport-size photograph
- Original valid ID proof
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the centre wearing his/ her own mask. The face mask will be provided at the centre

The CSIR NET City Intimation Slip will be released by NTA on the official website. Candidates will be able to check their CSIR NET Exam City 2024 by downloading the intimation slip through the official website. It is to be noted that this is only an Advance Intimation of the Exam City Allotted as per the revised schedule where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates. What's Next after CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2024?
After the release of the admit card, the NTA conducts the CSIR NET exam. All candidates who apply for the exam need to appear for the National Eligibility Test (NET) as per the details and instructions mentioned on their admit cards. Candidates are advised to reach the allotted test centre at least two hours before the commencement of the exam.
