The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) released the application form and notification for December 2023 cycle on November 1, 2023. The candidates could fill out the application form for the CSIR NET 2023 exam from November 1 to December 4, 2023 (till 5:00 pm). CSIR NET Application Correction Window was opened from December 6 to 8, 2023. The CSIR NET exam is scheduled to be taken on December 26 to 28, 2023.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts CSIR UGC NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) to determine the eligibility of candidates from Science and Technology background for the award of JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and/ or the role of a lectureship in Indian universities and colleges.
