Candidates can give their preference for four exam cities (in order of priority) in the CSIR NET application form 2024. The exact CSIR NET exam centre details will be mentioned on the CSIR NET admit card of the candidates. If the candidates have mistakenly made the wrong choice of CSIR NET exam city, they can make changes in their preference during the application correction facility. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to make changes in their preference for CSIR NET exam cities 2024:
- Visit the official website - csirnet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the Correction Form button
- Login to your registered account using your application number and password
- Click on the Correction in Application Form button

CSIR NET Exam Centre 2024: Important Points
Candidates need to follow the given CSIR NET exam day guidelines at the exam centres:
- Candidates should reach the CSIR NET exam centre at the time indicated against reporting time in their CSIR NET admit card.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter after the gate closing time.
- No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination.
- Upon completion of the examination, candidates are advised to wait for instructions from Invigilator. The candidates will be allowed to move out only one at a time.
- Candidates are advised to verify the location of the exam centre, a day in advance so that they do not face any problems on the day of the exam.
- If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, then please visit the exam centre a little early for thorough checking and frisking.
- No candidate would be allowed to enter the centre without admit card, self-declaration undertaking, valid ID proof, and proper frisking.
- Before reaching the centre, candidates must enter the required details in the Self Declaration (Undertaking) in legible handwriting, paste their photograph and put a thumb impression at the appropriate place on the admit card.
