The Ministry of Home Affairs released IB ACIO 2024 exam city intimation slip. Aspirants who have applied for Central Intelligence Officer Grade–II/Executive (ACIO-II/Exe) can download the IB ACIO intimation slip from the official website at mha.gov.in. To access their exam city intimation slip for the IB ACIO 2024 exam, candidates need to log in to their account using their registration number and date of birth. 

IB ACIO exam is conducted in more than 100 cities. Candidates are required to select three exam cities while filling the application form. The discretion to allot exam centres to candidates depends on the examination authority. Candidates cannot change IB ACIO exam centres allotted to them. Candidates who opt for more than one exam centre are rejected.

Important Points Related to IB ACIO exam centres

Some of the important points related to IB ACIO exam centres are given below. Candidates should select their exam centres carefully or else their application forms are rejected:

  • Candidates can be allotted at the nearby centre in case the centre chosen by them is not available
  • The details of exam centres will be informed to candidates through the IB ACIO admit card
  • No TA or other expenses will be provided to candidates appearing in Tier I, II and interview
  • The travel expenses will be provided to only unemployed SC/ST candidates
  • No cash payment will be made at the time of test or interview
  • The date, time and centre of Tier II and will be informed to candidates through email
  • Tier II exam and interviews will be conducted at an IB ACIO exam centre by clubbing the candidates of nearby centres.
  • Mobile Phones and other electronic gadgets are banned within the premises of the examination centres
  • Candidates must reach IB ACIO exam centre 15 minutes prior to the exam
  • Candidates must check the exam centres one day before the exam to avoid any last-minute hassle

IB ACIO Application Form 2024

IB ACIO application form should be filled online only.  The online application is divided into two parts. Part 1 includes filling personal, academic and other particulars. Part 2 includes payment of exam fee. The application fee is INR 100 for only male candidates belonging to General and OBC category. All SC/ST and female candidates are exempted from fee payment. Candidates can pay their application fee both online and offline. The fee once paid by candidates will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

  • There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer in the Tier I exam
  • For a correct answer in Tier I, candidates will get one mark
  • No marks will be awarded for un-attempted questions
