IB ACIO 2022 Pattern: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released a detailed IB ACIO 2022 Notification PDF to select eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ Technical in the Intelligence Bureau. IB ACIO exam pattern 2022 for this post includes shortlisting based on GATE score and interview. GATE score of 2020/2021/2022 will be used for shortlisting candidates for interview. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE scorecard. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidate combined marks obtained in GATE exam and interview. Candidates appearing in the interview will be required to appear for the Psychometric/Aptitude Test and this is the part of the interview process.

IB ACIO Exam Pattern for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ Technical
The selection of candidates for this post is done based on shortlisting and interview. The GATE score of 1000 will be accepted for the recruitment process. The interview carries 175 marks. The interview is aimed to assess the candidate’s traits on two parameters, i.e. subject knowledge in relevant fields and communication skills.

IB ACIO Exam Pattern for Tier 1
Tier I of IB ACIO is the first stage of the recruitment process. The test comprises objective type MCQ based questions divided into five parts. Tier I comprises subjects such as General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability & Reasoning, English Language, and General Studies. Each section will have 20 questions. The total marks of the test are 100. Candidates will be given one hour to complete the test. The structure of the Tier 1 exam is given below.

Tier II is a descriptive type test. The test comprises an essay on one of the given topics, English Comprehension, and precis writing. The total marks of the test are 50. The duration of the exam is one hour. The structure of Tier II is given below.
