IB ACIO Notification 2024: Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs releases IB ACIO notification to fill up vacancies for the post of Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence (IB ACIO) Grade-II. The exam is conducted annually once a year and selection of candidates is done based on Tier I, II, and III exams. Read below for more details on IB ACIO notification 2024.

IB ACIO 2024 Eligibility

IB ACIO eligibility criteria is prescribed by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) in terms of age and educational qualification. To be accepted for the recruitment exam, candidates need to fulfill the required eligibility criteria. According to IB ACIO eligibility criteria, any graduate candidates aged between 18 and 27 years are eligible to apply for the exam.

IB ACIO application form is released online. The application fees can be paid both online and offline. The examination fee is INR 100 and recruitment processing charges are INR 500. Male candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC categories are required to pay the exam fee as well as recruitment processing charges. All SC/ST, female and ExSM candidates are required to pay recruitment processing fees.

IB ACIO 2024 Exam Pattern

IB ACIO exam pattern is such that it is divided into three tiers. Tier I is conducted online and comprises objective-type multiple-choice questions. The test paper is divided into five sections. The duration of the test is one hour. The total marks of the exam are 100. Tier II is a descriptive test of 50 marks. The exam is held for one hour. The Interview is conducted for 100 marks.

No, it is not necessary for one to clear UPSC exam to get into the Intelligence Bureau.
