IB ACIO Cutoff: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) releases IB ACIO cutoff for various categories after the completion of the recruitment process. Besides the IB ACIO cut off marks, candidates need to secure the prescribed minimum qualifying marks. The qualifying marks prescribed for Tier-I are 35 for General Category, 34 for OBC/EWS, and 33 for SC & ST Categories.

IB ACIO Cut off: Different Stages

The cutoff marks of IB ACIO are decided for the following stages:

IB ACIO Cut off for Tier 1

IB ACIO cut off for Tier 1 is decided to shortlist candidates for the next stage of the selection process which is Tier 2. Candidates are also required to score the qualifying marks too. Apart from scoring the qualifying marks, candidates must also score the minimum cut off marks as per their category. IB ACIO cut off for this stage is decided out of 100 marks. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies are selected for Tier 2.

IB ACIO Cut off for Tier 2

IB ACIO cut off marks for Tier 2 are determined to shortlist candidates for interview. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier 2 are 33 per cent. This means candidates are required to secure 17 marks out of 50. On the basis of the Tier 2 marks, candidates five times the number of vacancies are selected for the interview.

IB ACIO Cut off for Final Selection

IB ACIO final cut off is released after the interview. The final cut off is decided based on Tier 1, 2, and Interview. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are selected for appointment. IB ACIO cut off for Interview is calculated out of 100 marks.

The marking scheme of IB ACIO is given below:

  • There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer in the Tier I exam
  • For a correct answer in Tier I, candidates will get one mark
  • No marks will be awarded for un-attempted questions
