IB ACIO Vacancies 2022: The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced IB ACIO vacancies 2022 for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade 2/Technical Exam 2022. A total of 150 vacancies have been announced, out of these 56 vacancies are for Computer Science & Technology and 94 are for Electronics & Communication. IB ACIO selection process includes shortlisting based on GATE score and interview. GATE score of 2020/2021/2022 will be used for shortlisting candidates for interview. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE scorecard. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidate combined marks obtained in GATE exam and interview. Candidates appearing in the interview will be required to appear for the Psychometric/Aptitude Test and this is the part of the interview process. In 2021, a total of 2,000 vacancies were announced for IB ACIO Executive post. The selection process of IB ACIO for this post comprises written exam (Tier I and II) and interview.

IB ACIO Salary
Candidates are entitled to a salary of INR 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400. They are also entitled to Central Government Allowances. Special Security allowance of 20 per cent of basic pay in addition to other government allowances. Cash compensation is also given in lieu of duty performed on holiday subject to a ceiling of 30 days.
IB ACIO Selection Process
The selection process of IB ACIO is given below:
Tier I exam: Tier I is the first stage of the selection process. The test comprises four sections, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical/analytical ability, and English Language. The total marks of the test are 100. The duration of the test is 60 minutes.
Tier II exam: Tier II is conducted for the qualified candidates of Tier I. The test comprises descriptive type questions. The total marks for the test are 50 marks. The duration of the test is 60 minutes.
Interview: Based on the performance in Tier I and II, candidates are shortlisted for interview. In Interview, candidates are given a score out of 100 marks.
Final Selection: On the basis of the combined performance in Tier I, II and Interview, candidates are shortlisted for final selection. Letter of appointment is provided to candidates after successful completion of document verification and medical examination.
