The steps to download the admit card of INET is given below:

• Visit the official website, joinindiannavy.gov.in
• Click the admit card link on the home page
• Enter email ID and password
• INET admit card appears on the screen
• Download the admit card and take its printout

Candidates can retrieve the password by clicking the ‘Forgot Password’ tab. They need to enter email ID and captcha code to retrieve the password.

The admit card of INET will have the following details:

After downloading the INET admit card, candidates are advised to check the details carefully. In case of any discrepancies, candidates must contact the examination authority for correction. Candidates can call at the toll-free number 1800-419-2929 and press Option 7 to speak to a customer care.

Along with the admit card, candidates need to carry any one of the following photo-identity proofs. They need to carry the original and photocopy of the identity proofs:

• Aadhar Card
• Pan Card
• Voter ID Card
• Passport

• Candidates need to download the admit card online only
• No hard copy of the admit card is sent to candidates by post
• INET admit card should be retained by candidates till completion of the recruitment process
• The admit card should be in good condition or else it will not be accepted by the examination authority
• Without admit card and photo-identity proof, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall

INET Exam Pattern

The exam as per INET exam pattern comprises questions from English, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, General Science, Mathematical Aptitude & General Knowledge. The test will be conducted for two hours and comprises 100 objective-type multiple choice questions. The total marks allotted to the exam are 400.

English: Questions are asked from Comprehension, Usage of Words, Sentence completion / Corrections, Punctuations, Grammar, Vocabulary, Antonyms and Synonyms, Parts of Speech, Direct and Indirect Speech, Idioms and Phrases, Active and Passive Voice, Etc.

Reasoning and Numerical Ability: In this section, questions are asked from Coding and Decoding, Missing Numbers / Series Completion, Decimal Fraction, Ratios and Proportion, Average and Volume, Time and Work, Speed and Distance, Market Price, Profit and Loss, Percentage, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, etc.

General Science and Mathematical Aptitude: Questions will be asked from Universe, Electricity and its Applications, Force and Gravitation, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Periodic Table, etc.

General Knowledge: Question will be from History of India, Geography, Art, Culture, Dance, Heritage, Books and Authors, Defence and wars, etc.
