INET Notification 2022: Indian Navy releases INET notification to invite applications from eligible candidates for short service commission/permanent service commission officers in executive, technical, and education branches. Candidates selected through INET score and SSB interview undergo training at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala. INET notification is released in PDF format on the official website-joinindiannavy.gov.in. In 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the INET entrance exam for June 2021 course was not conducted. The merit list was prepared only on the basis of SSB interview. Read below for more details on INET notification.
INET Notification 2022

INET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

| Educational qualification |
The educational qualification depends on the post candidates are applying for. However, the required educational qualification is BE/BTech/MBA/BSc/BCom/BSc (IT)/MCA/MSc (IT)/ MSc (Maths/Operational Research/Physics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics/ Chemistry), MA (English/History) with 60 per cent. Candidates applying for the education entry must have scored a minimum of 60 per cent marks in Class 10 and 12 in English. |

Candidates must be medically and physically fit. They must have the required height and weight prescribed by the examination authority. |
INET 2022 Application Form
Interested candidates need to apply online for the exam. The application fee for INET exam is INR 215 while SC/ST/women candidates are exempted from fee payment. The steps to fill the application form are given below:

- Click the apply online link of INET
- Register by filling in the required details
- Upload documents such as original certificates, mark sheets, Domicile certificate, and (if held) NCC certificate
- Pay the application fees
- Submit the application form and take a printout

INET 2022 Selection Process
The selection process of INET is given below:
INET exam: All registered candidates need to appear for the INET exam, conducted for two hours. The exam contains 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions from English, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, General Science, Mathematical Aptitude & General Knowledge. Each section carries a total of 100 marks with a negative marking of one mark for incorrect answers. On the basis of INET rank-cum-preference and choice, approximately 8000 candidates are shortlisted for the SSB interview.

SSB Interview: The SSB Interview is conducted at Bangalore/Bhopal/Visakhapatnam/Kolkata. The SSB Interview is conducted in two stages. Candidates who clear Stage 1 are called for Stage 2. Those who fail in Stage 1 are sent back on the same date.
Medical Test: Candidates recommended for SSB are required to undergo a medical examination. Candidates for Pilot entry are required to undergo PABT (Pilot aptitude battery test) followed by Aviation medical examination.
Merit List and appointment letter: The merit list is prepared based on the combined marks of the INET and SSB interview. Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit are appointed for training as per all India merit of each branch/cadre based on the availability of the number of vacancies in various branches/cadres.
